This year's 24th Shanghai International Film Festival will officially open on June 11.
On May 11, one month before the opening, the Shanghai Film Festival held a mobilization meeting and safety service technical training meeting for designated screening theaters, and announced the list of screening theaters, and a total of 40 theaters were selected.
These cinemas include 6 new technology viewing experiences, radiating from the central urban area to 5 new cities, and adding a new screening venue of historical significance, the Huangpu Theater, which serves as the "national anthem singing place".
It is reported that on May 24, 1935, the theme song of the film "Children of the Wind and Clouds", written by Tian Han and composed by Nie Er, was sung at the Huangpu Theater.
Many of the theaters selected this time are equipped with specialty cinema halls or high-tech projection technology, including IMAX, Dolby Cinema DOLBY CINEMA, CGS China Giant Screen, CINITY, LUXE, Onyx Led, which fully enhance the audiovisual effect of the film.

Prose films are Chris Mark's greatest creative feature, that is, using documentaries as a shell to present the beauty of installation art and convey personal ideas. He breaks with the narrative genre of traditional images, flexibly using montages to collage photographs and moving images, and highlights humor and poetry in the narration.
Chris Mark's works in this exhibition include: Sunday in Beijing, Letter from Siberia, Dream of the Founding of Israel,, Beautiful May, Three Whales, Akira Kurosawa and The Fifth Rank.
