Movies with more than a billion dollars at the box office are now very rare, so it is very lucky to be able to star in such box office movies, most actors may not meet such a movie in their entire careers, but there are also actors who have successfully starred in many of these over -1 billion mark movies, especially in several series of films.

Over the past 10 years or so, theaters have grossed more than ever, and box office numbers have continued to climb and set records. But films that can cross the $1 billion mark are still rare, and many films are known for achieving this goal, but this goal is not so easy to achieve.
What's even rarer is that the same actor has starred in several $1 billion movies. That's obviously more likely to happen in popular franchises, where stars like Dawn Johnson and Robert Downey Jr. have starred in the $1 billion Fast and Furious and Marvel Cinematic Universe franchises, respectively. Some actors have done this in more than one series of films, and even in an independent film.
After a difficult 2020, the theater box office gradually began to recover in 2021 and 2022, with more and more movies approaching the $1 billion mark, and "Spider-Man: Homeless" achieved a breakthrough before the 2021 annual close, and it is this movie that has allowed some new actors to join the club with multiple multi-billion dollar movies. However, it's not just superhero movies that accomplish the feat of breaking 1 billion, it actually involves actors and productions from multiple genres.
Orlando Bloom
At one point, Orlando Bloom was one of the highest-grossing actors because both of his big films grossed the $1 billion mark, and several of his other films were slightly underrated.
He played the charismatic and adorable archer Legolas in the Lord of the Rings series. The last "Return of the King" grossed more than $1 billion ($1.142 billion). In addition, he played Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean: Treasure of the Dead ($1.066 billion).
Teres Gibson
It's not common for a person to go from music career to big screen success, and Teres Gibson basically did that. He played Air Force Sergeant Major Robert Epps in the Transformers film series, and he did a great job.
The third installment in the Change series, Dark of the Moon (valued at $1.123 billion), was the highest-grossing of any of them. Teres starred in the explosive series, making his debut in Fast and Furious 2, returning in Fast & Furious 5, and back again. The film's box office exceeded everyone's expectations, with Both Fast & Furious 7 ($1.515 billion) and Fast & Furious 8 ($1.236 billion) achieving that goal.
Alpha Woodard
She may not be the first name fans can think of when it comes to box office stars, but Alpha Woodard is a well-respected and versatile actor today. She played Miriam Sharp in Captain America: Civil War ($1.153 billion), the first time she's tasted more than $1 billion.
Her other Marvel role was playing Maria Stokes in the Netflix episode of Luke Cage. Another breakthrough film by Alpha Woodard was in the 2019 remake of The Lion King ($1.662 billion), in which she voiced Simba's mother, Salaby.
Josh Gad
Josh Gad's combination of acting and singing skills has made him one of Hollywood's most beloved actors in recent years. He nearly made it to the billion-dollar box office for his role in the Ice Age series, but it wasn't until 2013 that he made it to the list by voicing the adorable snowman Olaf in Frozen ($1.281 billion).
In 2017, he starred in a memorable film, playing Gaston's friend Rifle in the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast ($1.264 billion). The film also made him one of the actors involved in several $1 billion films.
Jimon Hongsu
The talented Jaimon Hongsu, although his reputation is not so hot, he still seems to be the kind of actor who is everywhere. From Gladiator to Blood Diamond, he has been involved in various films. He has even appeared in multiple MCU films and played two different roles in the DCEU.
In the MCU, Hong Su played The Hunt for Klaas in Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvel ($1.28 billion), while in the DCEU he played the Ancient Wizard in Shazam and the King of the Mermaid Kingdom in Aquaman ($1.148 billion). In addition, Hong Su also played mercenary leader Moses Jacondi in "Fast and Furious 7".
James Earl Jones
There are not many voices in the world that are more famous and representative than James Earl Jones. As a result, his success at the box office of more than $1 billion came from the fact that he voiced two of the most legendary characters in the history of cinema.
In 1994, Jones voiced Mufasa in the first "The Lion King" ($1.063 billion), which reached that level after several reissues. He also voiced the character again in the 2019 remake. Meanwhile, although he made his debut as Darth Vader in the original 1977 Star Wars, it wasn't until 2016's Star Wars Story: Rogue One ($1.056 billion) that he was able to voice Darth Vader in a $1 billion movie.
Naomi Harris
Naomi Harris actually debuted Tia Dalma in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Coffin of Souls, her first film to gross more than $1 billion. Harris continued to play this role in the sequel, which was nearly flat at the box office.
For her, another successful film is another of the biggest series in film history, James Bond. Harris was involved in the only film in the series that grossed more than $1 billion, 007: Breaking The Curtain ($1.108 billion). In this film, she played a memorable character, Qian Banni, and continued the role in 007: Ghost Party and No Time to Die.
Van Diesel
Many people tend to forget that Van Diesel played two of the most famous roles throughout history. Apparently, his most famous character is Dominique Torreto, the protagonist of the Fast and Furious series. Following the success of Fast & Furious 7 and Fast & Furious 8, the Fast & Furious series seems to be getting better and more popular in the years to come.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Diesel is also the voice actor for the character of Groot. While both Guardians of the Galaxy films grossed less than $1 billion, Groot was a key player in Avengers: Infinity War ($2.048 billion). Diesel will also reportedly join the ranks of the "Avatar" sequel, the first film to set a record 1 billion box office.
Michelle Rodriguez
When it comes to Van Diesel and the entire Fast and Furious series of films, it's hard not to mention Michel Rodriguez. Rodriguez's Letty Ortiz is one of the most important original characters in the show, and like Diesel, she is a key character in Fast & Furious 7 and Fast & Furious 8.
Rodriguez's entire career has been spent playing the toughest female character on the big screen. She rose to fame with Fast and Furious, but then played Captain Trudy Chakon in Avatar ($2.798 billion), the highest-grossing film of all time at the time.
Samuel L. Jackson
There aren't many actors who stand out more than Samuel Jackson's role. The box office hit was Nick Fury, who played the Marvel Cinematic Universe, who first topped $1 billion with The Avengers ($1.518 billion) and most recently Spider-Man: The Hero's Quest ($1.131 billion).
Arguably, in the history of cinematic pop culture, the other biggest series of movies alongside the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Star Wars. Jackson played the role of Jedi Mays Windu in the prequel trilogy, with The Phantom Menace ($1.027 billion) being the highest-grossing. Strictly speaking, his voice can also be heard in The Rise of Skywalker ($1.074 billion). Jackson also voiced Frozen Man in The Incredibles 2 ($1.243 billion).
Sterling K. Brown
In recent years, Sterling K. Brown has become one of the best actors in the world. This is largely because of award-winning tv series such as "This Is Us" and "American Crime Story: Prosecuting Simpson." However, he has also starred in two blockbuster films.
First, he played T'Challa's uncle, Nijadaka's father, in Black Panther ($1.347 billion). The following year, Brown voiced Matthias, the leader of are Arendelle's soldiers in Frozen 2 ($1.45 billion).
Emma Watson
Emma Watson's first film was Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone ($1.006 billion), so it was a harbinger of her becoming a well-known character. Strictly speaking, though, the Philosopher's Stone only topped the $1 billion figure after its re-release, but the series' final, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 ($1.342 billion), grossed the highest grossing film in the series.
She starred in such a blockbuster at a very young age, which made Watson very critical of future roles, and she chose projects with passions rather than purely for reward. Watson did, and her portrayal of Bell in Beauty and the Beast ($1.264 billion) added another big success to her acting experience.
Lupita Nyong'o
In 2013, Lupita Niyong'o became a star after winning an Oscar for her role in Twelve Years of Slavery. Since then, her career has been on the rise. She has also performed well in films such as "Us" and has also joined two of the largest series in history.
First, she played Maz Kanata in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($2.068 billion), and despite being a minor supporting role, she made another appearance in both sequels, both of which set multibillion-dollar box office records. She also played the heroic Nagiya in Black Panther ($1.347 billion at the box office), a well-known character.
Luke Evans
Many movie actors who can break the $1 billion mark have made the Marvel Cinematic Universe one of the big hits they want to participate in. But that's not the case with Luke Evans, who has worked on a different series of films, making his first appearance in Fast & Furious 6 as the evil Owen Shaw before joining Fast & Furious 7 and Fast & Furious 8.
In fact, he was involved in three different genres of the multi-billion dollar film series, which made him one of the rarer actors, Evans played Bud the Archer in the extended version of The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey ($1.017 billion), and he also played Girrian, king of the river valleys. He then played the role of Gaston in the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast ($1.264 billion).
Zoe Soldana
While Luke Evans has played more roles in multibillion-dollar films, Zoe Saldana topped the club for her role in two of the highest-grossing films of all time. And she didn't just play small roles, in Avatar ($2.789 billion), she played one of the two most important roles, Natilly.
Of course, she is also the central character of Camorra in Guardians of the Galaxy, the central character in Avengers: Infinity War ($2.048 billion), and her return in Avengers: Endgame ($2.797 billion) is also a highlight of the highest-grossing film, three of the five highest-grossing films in history. Saldana also starred in the first Pirates of the Caribbean film, but even though the film broke through $1 billion, she didn't continue to star in the series.
