Another heartbreaking 💔 news jumped before our eyes over the weekend: wildfires around Monterrey in the United States, affecting iconic landmarks on California's Route 1, which was closed indefinitely.

The bridge in the picture above, I believe many people are not unfamiliar, it is the Bixby Bridge near Big Sur (Big Sur), this bridge built in 1932 is the California Route 1 must-punch attraction in the minds of many travelers, its beautiful shape and majestic momentum also make it one of the most highly photographed bridges in the movie.
As it was, it looked like this:

At night it goes like this:

The fire began at around 7:30 p.m. local time on the 21st, and the fire spread rapidly and spread to the Bixby Bridge in Big Sur, California, in the early morning of the 22nd. As you can see from the photo, the fire is getting closer and closer to the landmark Bixby Bridge, and fire trucks rushing to the scene of the fire are all along the road.

On the night of the 22nd, flames also appeared around the piers of the bridge.
The California Highway Patrol closed parts of Route 1 on Rio Road outside Carmel by the Sea. Andrew Molera State Park, north of Big Sur, is closed. Residents living near areas of wildfire burning were forcibly evacuated.
In early 2017, two consecutive weeks of torrential rains caused landslides under the Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge on California's Route 1, which was also severely damaged and took at least a year to build.
Affected by the torrential rains, only a small part of the highway one was closed at the time, and there were some attractions that were affected and could not be seen. Unexpectedly, this fire directly led to the indefinite closure of Highway One. The epidemic has not yet passed, and it is really regrettable and helpless to hear such news.
California Route One, one of the 50 must-see places of a lifetime by National Geographic magazine, is one of the self-driving routes that every self-driving enthusiast wants to experience in the United States.

It is a waterfront highway that connects San Francisco and Los Angeles, usually referring to the section of the road between Leggett in northern San Francisco and Dana Point in the south of Los Angeles, with a total length of about 655 miles.
San Francisco is the starting point for most travelers driving California's Highway One. The California Highway One from north to south is driven along the sea side, so you can really feel what it is to travel by the sea.

For travelers, the car drives past Half Moon Bay, a small town named after its crescent-shaped cliffline, and from here, the beauty of California's Route 1 unfolds.

How many people, like Jinbao jun, have taken photos on this highway at every look-and-see point that feels "beautiful should not be missed"... Encountering heavy fog on the way is reminiscent of the picture in "Silent Hill", silently slowing down while finding the locals speeding past you... In this way, less than 1/5 of the traffic was opened at noon

On the one hand, the mysterious Pacific Ocean with vast smoke and waves hitting the rocks, on the other hand, the seaside mountains with ups and downs and changing scenery, God has given here blue sky, sea, sunshine, sand, and also sent down natural spirits such as walruses, terns, sea otters, condors, etc. The wise human beings have brought exquisite architecture, flowing wine, and colorful culture to this place - the beauty along the California Highway 1 condenses the essence of nature and humanity. Big Sur, which winds by the sea and has a beautiful scenery, is the essence of California's Highway One, such a beautiful scenery, I hope to resume opening as soon as possible
