Hello everyone, I'm David Stay.

The last program introduced the new features and use methods of iOS 15 to everyone, I don't know if everyone has watched it.
Today we take a look at another big play, what practical new features iPadOS 15 brings to the iPad.
Since Apple separated iOS and iPadOS, the iPad has got more new features that the iPhone doesn't have, and the use of large screens has become more flexible.
This time the iPadOS 15 is even more so.
1. Split screen mode enhanced
iPadOS 14 has the ability to display two programs on split screen, and this time 15 strengthens the split screen mode.
Open a program that supports split screen, and you will find that there are more "three dots" on the top of the screen.
After clicking, three icons will appear, this is the 15 newly added "multitasking menu", which represents "window full screen", "program left" and "program floating right".
For example, after we click on the left, the top of the screen will prompt "Split Screen Browsing" to choose other APPS.
If we select a program that supports split screen, the two windows will be displayed side by side.
And the second program chosen can be the same app or different. But only if the program supports split-screen mode.
For example, game programs can only run in full screen.
Friends who want to open more mobile games have to think of other ways.
After clicking on the "program floating right" icon, the current program will run to the far right of the screen.
When a different program is selected, the two programs are not displayed side by side, but the previous program floats above the other.
Floating programs can be hidden when you swipe to the right, while sliding from the right edge to the left can display floating programs again.
This operation can also be used in the game, for example, we use WeChat as a floating program, you can reply to WeChat messages without leaving the game, which is very practical.
This feature is available in iPadOS 14, but 15 adds icon manipulation. We can still drag and drop from the bottom dock to split the screen or float the program as in iPadOS 14.
Just 15 makes this feature not only limited to the dock anymore, but also the programs supported on the desktop. In addition, the floating program on the right side can be multiple, we can slide up at the bottom of the floating program, just like the "Multitasking Manager", we can switch and close the floating program.
iPadOS 15 for split screen enhancement is not only this, from the bottom of the screen swipe up to open the "Multitasking Manager", we can switch and end a program here, this is known, but iPadOS 15, we can drag one of the programs to another, to achieve the effect of split screen, click again to open the two programs that have split the screen.
In addition, split-screen programs can implement functions such as pasting text and sending pictures by dragging content to another window. In some cases it is quite practical.
In split-screen mode, we can also change the size of the left and right windows by dragging and dropping the gap in the middle. This is still the same as iPadOS 14.
However, iPadOS 15 can also click on the "Multi-Window Manager" full-screen icon above to achieve the same effect.
2. Quick Memos
I find this feature very practical. Swipe in from the bottom right corner of the screen at any time and a Quick Memo will appear.
You can enter text directly on it or write by hand.
It also shows links related to the current program, which can be inserted into a quick memo with a click.
Notes are saved automatically, and when we open the Notes program, we can see all the Quick Notes above.
3. Widgets
Now the iPad's widgets can be placed on the desktop like the iPhone. Press and hold on the screen, and then tap "+" in the upper-left corner to add widgets.
Android next door please don't laugh!
4.App Repositories
In iPadOS 15, Apple added the "App Library" introduced by iOS14 to the iPad. Click the icon on the far right from the Dock or swipe to the far right screen like an iPhone to see the "App Library".
As for whether this function is good or not, everyone will experience it for themselves.
5. Other new features introduced by iOS15
iPadOS 15 also adds new features to iOS15. For example, "Live Text", "Focus Mode", "Safari Extensions", "Notification Summary" and so on.
Since I have already said in detail when explaining iOS15, I will not repeat it here, and the use method is the same. Friends who want to know can go and see the video and article.
I saw a friend say, how can I not use a function like "live text" on my iPhone or iPad? That's because this feature requires a CPU above A12 to be able to use, so the iPhone6s of the Ten Thousand Years Nail Household don't think about it.
Apple has a good conscience to get it updated to iOS 15. After all, people also have to retain some functions to open a small stove for the new machine, or who buys a new mobile phone? You say yes or no.
Simple, one-look scientific and technological knowledge and use skills are all in "David Stay Technology", welcome everyone to pay attention to and forward, the first time to watch my videos and articles.
If you find this episode useful, I also hope that everyone can like, collect, follow and retweet. I will bring you more useful technical tips.
Thank you. We'll see you next time!
