People's Daily Beijing, October 25 (Wu Sixuan, Zhang Rong) From October 22 to 23, the fourth "China-Latin America Civilization Dialogue Forum" was held in Beijing. Nearly 200 people from 11 countries, including China, Brazil, Argentina and Chile, attended the meeting and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the theme of "Developing Mutual Learning: Building a New Type of Exchange and Cooperation between China and Latin America", and reached a broad consensus.

Yang Ping, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Contemporary China and the World, on behalf of the organizers of the forum, released the Beijing Declaration of the Forum on Dialogue between Chinese and Latin American Civilizations in four languages: Chinese, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
The Beijing Declaration of the China-Latin America Civilization Dialogue Forum points out that it is the common aspiration of all parties to carry out dialogue between China and Latin America civilizations, enhance mutual understanding and promote mutual learning and mutual learning. The Beijing Declaration of the Forum on Dialogue among Chinese and Latin American Civilizations supports the strengthening of friendly exchanges between localities and gives play to the role of the Platform of the China-Latin America People-to-People Exchange Research Base (Jiangsu); proposes to make joint efforts to promote the institutional construction of the Forum on Dialogue among Chinese and Latin American Civilizations, form a cooperation network of the Forum on Dialogue among Chinese and Latin American Civilizations, build a platform for knowledge exchange and cooperation and sharing between China and Latin America and Latin America, and explore the timely relocation to Latin American and Caribbean countries to hold the Forum on Dialogue between Chinese Civilizations; agree to strengthen Chinese studies in Latin America and the Caribbean and China's Latin American and Caribbean studies, and carry out joint research and joint publication, Jointly build the China-Latin America Academic Community; support the China-Latin America Civilization Dialogue Forum as a platform to continuously promote civilizational exchanges and development and mutual learning, so that China-Latin America civilization can become a model for the harmonious coexistence and mutual promotion of different civilizations.
Liu Jiandong, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, said in his closing speech that the "China-Latin America Civilization Dialogue" was founded in Jiangsu, and Jiangsu closely relied on the theme activity of "China-Latin America Civilization Dialogue" to promote exchanges with Latin American countries in various fields. As one of the provinces with the highest degree of openness in the country, Jiangsu has always attached importance to exchanges with Latin America, and with the help of the platform of dialogue between Civilizations between China and Latin America, the field of exchanges and cooperation has been continuously expanded and deepened: with dialogue among civilizations as the main line of traction, the local foundation of political mutual trust between China and Latin America has been continuously deepened; with dialogue among civilizations as the platform carrier, the atmosphere of local exchanges and interaction between China and Latin America has been continuously strengthened; and the dialogue of civilizations has been taken as an opportunity to continuously enliven the fields of local economic and trade cooperation between China and Latin America.
Cen Hong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangsu Normal University, said in her closing speech that Jiangsu Normal University has always attached importance to people-to-people exchanges between China and Latin America, has long been committed to the cultivation of relevant talents in the field of Latin American studies, and actively promoted cooperation with universities and think tanks in Latin American countries. Jiangsu Normal University will continue to make use of its own advantages and the platform of "China-Latin America People-to-People Exchange Research Base" to further deepen the research on people-to-people exchanges between China and Latin America and build a bridge for the dialogue between China and Latin America civilizations.

As part of the efforts to promote the dialogue mechanism between China and Latin America civilizations, the "China-Latin America Civilization Dialogue Forum" has been successfully held for four sessions so far, becoming one of the most influential public dialogue platforms between China and Latin America.
