Gu Yanping
Yongchun County Lipeng Horticultural Farm Co., Ltd
Gu Yanping, full of local feelings, transformed and founded the first homestay in Yongchun - Yinyu Homestay, to guide women to participate in rural revitalization; she was full of dedication and explored the value of rural functions to found the first rural public welfare college in Yongchun - Bixi Academy, driving women to engage in rural public welfare, opening courses for the children of the college, and serving about 5,000 people in the village and surrounding villages; she was full of entrepreneurial passion, explored the integration of one, two and three industries to create a lychee industry brand - Lychee Commune, and built a joint service system for lychee industrialization. She has put her life on the economic and cultural construction of the countryside, the development of public welfare undertakings, the progress of rural civilization and other fields, and has made outstanding contributions to the revitalization of the countryside unremittingly.
Rao Xiaoqiong
Fujian Liancheng Orchid Co., Ltd
Rao Xiaoqiong has long been engaged in orchid cultivation technology, orchid germplasm resources, new variety breeding and orchid flowering period regulation technology, and participated in a number of national, provincial and municipal key research and development programs. Under her leadership, 147 farmers' cooperatives, orchid enterprises and 3,040 farmers in Liancheng County are currently involved in orchid planting, with a planting area of more than 5,600 mu and more than 1,200 varieties. In addition, Rao Xiaoqiong has helped 359 local households in need and 1,101 people in need, training orchid cultivation techniques and disseminating professional knowledge for lannons across the country free of charge every year, making outstanding contributions to helping women start businesses and generate income.
Yu Haiyan
Gutian County Hetang Bright Tea Professional Cooperative
Yu Haiyan established a cooperative in 2012 to create the "Minzhiyan" tea brand, and jointly with the Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other units to build a circular ecological agriculture model of "tea-fungus-tea" for the first time. She did not forget the villagers, set up a bright farmer field school, invited experts to train more than 350 farmers, and helped villagers master the scientific management technology of tea and fungi. At the same time, she provided a number of jobs for local villagers, successfully helped 70 poor mothers get rid of poverty, and funded disabled villagers to insure 37 poor mothers with "Carnation" insurance to solve the worries of poor mothers. She embarked on an extraordinary path of women's entrepreneurship and contributed to the "leading swallow" force in helping rural revitalization.
The "new farmers" are the leading geese that drive women's entrepreneurship and innovation, and the main force in promoting the sustainable development of the agricultural and rural economy. These typical cases and modern agricultural development leaders are leading, their deeds are exemplary, and their projects are innovative. It is hoped that the vast number of rural women will learn from the successful practices and experiences of typical cases, carry forward the entrepreneurial spirit of hard work and perseverance, radiate a strong enterprising spirit of making meritorious contributions and starting a business, and gather strong spiritual strength for the construction of new Fujian in the new development stage.
