On January 21, 2022, the establishment of the editorial board of "Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing" 'Nail Breast Care Column' and Academic Report Meeting" sponsored by the Journal of Integrative Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing and undertaken by Nanjing Central Hospital was successfully held. Nearly 50 people in the field of nursing in Jiangsu Province, including editorial board members, review experts and academic experts, attended the meeting.
The inauguration ceremony of the editorial board of the "Breast Care Column" was presided over by Gu Ping, deputy secretary of the party committee and president of Nanjing Central Hospital.
President Ye Zhenhua of the Journal of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing delivered a speech, recalling that in the past 2021, "Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing" (CJIN) has achieved fruitful results under the supervision and leadership of the Beijing Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the establishment of the editorial board of "Breast Care Column" will promote the academic and disciplinary development of breast care and create a column editor-in-chief team with broad academic vision and academic ability. President Ye Zhenhua, on behalf of the CJIN organizers and the editorial board, read out the list of members of the editorial board of the "Breast Care Column", with Professor Wu Xinping, a well-known expert in the field of thyroid ultrasound in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, as the honorary editor-in-chief of the column, Wang Bei, director of the Nursing Department of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, as the column editor-in-chief, and a total of 15 people from all levels of hospitals across the country serving as deputy editors, editorial board members and correspondents.
Director Wang Bei, editor-in-chief of the column, reported on the preparation of the "Nail Milk Care Column" from the aspects of research progress, creation background, and purpose of the column. She pointed out that in recent years, the incidence of breast and thyroid diseases has shown a rapid upward trend, which seriously affects women's physical and mental health, and the development of nail milk disease nursing with the characteristics of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, the various nursing experiences, exploration paths, research ideas in clinical nursing into academic essence, effective dissemination in the field of specialized nursing at home and abroad, and the first time to obtain the guidance of nursing experts in the industry, is the original intention of creating a "breast milk nursing column", and welcomes nursing staff at all levels, teachers and students of nursing colleges and universities to actively submit articles. Open a green channel for the manuscripts recommended by the editorial board, share the latest theories and experiences in the field of nail milk nursing, and disseminate the academic characteristics and culture of Chinese nursing.
Professor Wu Xinping, Honorary Editor-in-Chief/Honorary Chairman of the Column, made a speech, pointing out that strengthening the application of appropriate technologies, promoting the construction of the discipline of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing, promoting the effective prevention, early intervention and accelerated rehabilitation of diseases, and improving the long-term quality of life of patients are positive responses to the strategic requirements of "co-construction, sharing, and health for all" put forward in the "Healthy China 2030" planning outline.
Yin Xiaorong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing Central Hospital, expressed warm congratulations on the establishment of the Editorial Board of "Breast Care Column" and sent a message to the nursing team to bravely meet the opportunities and challenges in the field of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing under the current global open science background, and continuously improve the level of nursing expertise to benefit more patients.
The special academic report was presided over by Li Weihong, vice president of Nanjing Central Hospital, the newly elected deputy editor-in-chief of the "Breast Care Column".
Professor Tang Ling, Director of the Nursing Department of The Oriental Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Integrative Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and Professor Xu Qin, Dean of the School of Nursing of Nanjing Medical University, were invited to make academic reports on the inheritance of TCM nursing, the development of nursing careers, the enhancement of scientific research and innovation capabilities, the enhancement of clinical nursing service capabilities, and the enhancement of international communication capabilities, with the themes of "Inheriting Innovative Development and Comprehensively Improving TCM Nursing Capabilities" and "How to Carry Out Nursing Research", which caused nursing staff at all levels to participate in the conference. Teachers and students in nursing schools responded positively, and there was a heated discussion on the academic promotion of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing and how clinical nursing staff can carry out scientific research and write relevant high-quality papers.
At the end of the academic report meeting, the editorial board of the "Breast Care Column" held the second plenary meeting, and the editor-in-chief Of the column, Wang Bei, and the deputy editor-in-chief Li Weihong, issued the editorial certificate to all the members and discussed the work plan of the column in 2022.
The establishment of the editorial board of the "Breast Care Column" of "Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing" will build a platform for continuing education, academic exchanges and technology promotion for outstanding nursing professionals across the country, promote the further development of integrated Chinese and Western medicine breast milk nursing technology, and improve the level of nursing and service quality. The column editor-in-chief and the experts of the editorial board will work together to improve academic quality, adhere to academic integrity, pay attention to technological innovation, create a special column with far-reaching academic brand effect, and jointly seek the new development of Chinese nursing academics and journals.
