Stein: Sources revealed that as long as the draft pick is enough, the Rockets may be willing to accept Westbrook

Live Bar, January 22, Marc Stein today in his column exposed a surprising big news, sources revealed that as long as the Lakers are willing to give enough draft picks, the Rockets may be willing to accept the trade Wei Shao.

Stein wrote in his column: "It has been suggested that I should revise my previous description of the possibility of a Westbrook transaction from completely impossible to extremely unlikely." League sources revealed that at least one team will be willing to accept him if conditions are right. Surprisingly, this team is the Houston Rockets.

Like many in the league, after the Rockets sent Westbrook to Washington in exchange for Wall, I thought Houston would no longer have the slightest interest in reuniting with Westbrook.

Well, I now understand that while the Rockets have no interest in letting Westbrook play for themselves again, they're willing to accept Westbrook in a different way.

If the Lakers are willing to give enough draft picks to incentivize the deal, (to be clear, the likelihood of this happening before the deal deadline is still very small), the deal could go ahead.

Sources revealed that if the Lakers are willing to give their 27-year first-round picks, they can persuade the Rockets to trade Westbrook with Wall, and the Lakers can naturally try to use multiple second-round picks as chips, but the 27-year first-round picks are coveted by competitors.
