It is understood that in order to deepen the "Rural Revitalization Action", the All-China Women's Federation and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs decided to promote and share 99 typical cases of national "new farmers" such as Shi Yan, executive director of Harvest (Beijing) Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., including "organic farm model that benefits farmers", "wisdom to create rural characteristic industries", "factory seedlings to help spring plowing" and other entrepreneurial models. The case aims to guide all kinds of women talents to exert their abilities, show their talents, and show their skills in the vast rural areas, so as to achieve the effect of digging and selecting a batch of trees and demonstrating and driving a piece, so as to play a good role in comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating agricultural and rural modernization.
Xiang Zhenhui is currently the chairman of Huayuan County Dongsheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Planting Professional Cooperative, the general manager of Huayuan County Hongsheng Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., is a new type of professional farmer, university undergraduate culture, is a deputy to the state and county people's congress, while serving as a standing committee member of the Xiangxi Youth Federation, a director of the Xiangxi Agricultural Society Council, the first agricultural local talents in Xiangxi Prefecture, the president of the Huayuan County Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Association, in 2020 was hired as a special agricultural technician in Huayuan County, a county science and technology commissioner, and a director of the Huayuan County Entrepreneurs Association.
In 2014, Xiang Zhenhui returned to her hometown with the dream of creating wealth in agriculture and rural areas, officially joined the team of new farmers, established the Dongsheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Planting Professional Cooperative, and in August 2017, established Huayuan Hongsheng Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. Over the years, she has worked tenaciously, pioneered and innovated, and written the exciting music of the strivers. She has always taken "facing the countryside, basing on agriculture, and serving farmers" as her responsibility, adopted the business model of "company + village-level collective economic cooperative + base + farmer", painstakingly studied the cultivation technology of Chinese herbal medicine Wu Zhuyi, flexibly applied the knowledge learned, brought the elements of modern agricultural development into the countryside, and built a demonstration base of modern characteristic Chinese medicinal materials with modern characteristics of large-scale planting, standardized production, commercialization, brand sales and industrial operation, and at the same time committed to improving the quality and efficiency of authentic medicinal materials. Through shareholding cooperation, the village-level collective economy has been strengthened, the income of poor households has been increased, and farmers have achieved "doorstep" employment, and achieved better economic, ecological and social benefits.
Through several years of hard work and efforts, Dongsheng Chinese Herbal Medicine Planting Professional Cooperative's main business of Evodia has become the main product of the county's industrial revitalization, in order to strengthen the "industry-university-research" cooperation, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, to Zhenhui and Hunan Agricultural University, compiled and formulated the Evodia harvesting and primary processing technical specifications, on May 20, 2021, by the Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau to the province issued and implemented, filling the blank in the development of the Hunan Province's standardized Chinese herbal medicine Evodia industry, providing a standard for the development of Evodia industry.
By the end of 2021, Xiang Zhenhui led the team to work hard to start a business, driving 4263 households in 37 villages in 12 townships and towns in the county to engage in the cultivation of Chinese medicinal materials, and the area of Chinese medicinal materials planted in the county with Evodia as the mainstay reached more than 8,500 mu, achieving an output value of more than 22 million yuan, an annual output of 2,000 tons of Evodia fresh goods, and an operating income of more than 12 million yuan. It has held 35 sessions of chinese herbal medicine planting training, trained more than 3,500 migrant workers, employed more than 26,800 workers in the vicinity, successively issued more than 7.25 million yuan in wages for farmers, paid 5.5 million yuan in land circulation rent, distributed 3.083 million yuan in village-level collective economic dividends, and achieved an average household income of 2,000 yuan. It has been awarded the National Demonstration Society of Farmers' Professional Cooperatives, the Provincial Demonstration Society of Hunan Farmers' Professional Cooperatives, the Leading Enterprise of Forestry Industry in Hunan Province, and the Leading Enterprise of Agricultural Industrialization in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, and has been identified as the Experimental Demonstration Base of the Research Center for Medicinal Plants of Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Demonstration Base of Forest Economy of Hunan Province, the Rural Science and Technology Demonstration Base of Xiangxi Prefecture, the Demonstration Base of Poverty Alleviation Science and Technology in Xiangxi Prefecture, and the Youth Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base of Huayuan County. Due to the cooperative's active participation in the precise poverty alleviation of Huayuan County, the effect of highlighting the benefit of poverty, allowing poor households to participate in industrial development, and achieving stable income increase is obvious, in 2020, it won the honorary title of "Thousands of Enterprises Helping Villages and Ten Thousand Cooperatives" Industrial Poverty Alleviation Outstanding Contribution Cooperative in Hunan Province, which has contributed to the agricultural efficiency, farmers' income and rural color in Huayuan County.
