17. Deadly Police Cars (2015)
Before taking over the Spider-Man series, director Joe Watts directed the low-key thriller that tells the story of two little boys (James Friedson-Jackson and Hayes Wilford) who find a police car in the suburbs and find a kidnapping victim in the trunk. The owner of the car, Sheriff Kretzer (Kevin Bacon), would do whatever it took to get it back.

Michael Serra perfectly plays the role of a clumsy young man who is determined to win the heart of the woman he loves (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) by truly winning a video game-style battle with her "seven evil exes" Wright tossed every trick in his book on the screen, and the result was a movie you could watch over and over again.
25. Social Networks (2010)
Considering what we've learned about Mark Zuckerberg since then, this exhilarating description of how a downright bastard started Facebook is even more shocking. The combination of Jesse Eisenberg's crisp protagonist performance, Aaron Sorkin's lengthy dialogue and David Finch's energetic director makes this a Shakespearean cautionary tale. It could be the best file on how the internet and social media have fundamentally changed us.
26. The Bachelor (2009)
In 1962, fashion designer Tom Ford directed an impressive directorial debut that told the story of a gay man in California who came out in 1962 and tried to keep himself together after the death of his long-term partner. Firth is incredible because he has a heartache and can't bear to share the truth of his life in a world where he's quickly judged.
27. The Resistance (2008)
The film is based on a true story that took place during World War II. It tells the story of a Jew with two younger brothers who flee from Nazi Germany-occupied Poland to the deserted forests of Belarus. The story of the three brothers joining the Soviet Resistance against the Nazis was born into death and eventually grew up to be a guerrilla leader fighting fascism.
28. Blood Is Coming (2007)
It's Kane, the citizen of the new century: a sprawling epic about a flawed rich man who let his power destroy him, directed by a prodigy who has been revered by most Hollywood. Paul Thomas Anderson and stars Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano have both made some of the best in telling the story of a treacherous oil merchant who meets an opponent on the fiery son of a missionary.

30. Pan's Labyrinth (2006)
After the end of the Spanish Civil War, a little girl (Ivana Bacro) escapes the chaos of her warlike stepfather and sick mother and explores a hidden labyrinth of strange creatures. Director Guillermo del Toro was praised for his specialty: weaving fairy tales with sharp edges.
