The latest report on the Schwarzenegger car accident case! A spokesman for actor Arnold Schwarzenegger confirmed he was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles police said a four-vehicle collision that occurred Friday afternoon left one person injured.
Images of the scene showed a large SUV parked on top of at least two vehicles at an intersection in Brentwood. Actors can be seen standing nearby.
Police said no one had been arrested at this time and ruled out the possibility of involvement in drugs and alcohol.
Police did not identify the person involved, but the actor and former California governor spokesman confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that he was driving the SUV at the time of the incident.
A police report seen by CBS Los Angeles said the SUV driver "collided with a red Prius near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Allenford Avenue, and he made a U-turn as he continued to turn left through the "red arrow" signal."
It added that the SUV rolled over the top of the Prius and eventually hit two other cars.
Photos posted on the TMZ website show a black GMC Yukon SUV on top of the Prius and Porsche.
Police said one person was taken to hospital by ambulance, but the injuries were not life-threatening.
A spokesman for Schwarzenegger said the actor was not injured and spoke to the emergency services and the injured.
The accident is currently under investigation.
