On January 20, the Chinese Speed Skating National Training Team concluded the third round of the second round of the Beijing Winter Olympics Selection Tournament. According to the rules of point ranking, male athletes Xu Fu and Yang Tao, and female athletes Agenar Adak, Tian Ruining, Pei Chong and Guo Dan successfully entered the big list. At this point, the Chinese speed skating team's Winter Olympic lineup led by "China's speed skating twin stars" Ning Zhongyan and Gao Tingyu has all been produced.

Earlier, the Winter Sports Management Center of the State General Administration of Sport said in the announcement of the selection method that Ning Zhongyan and Gao Tingyu, who won the single championship in the World Cup competition, automatically qualified for the Winter Olympic Games, and they would participate as special invitees and would not occupy the quota of the selection competition.

The speed skating trials were held in two rounds, the first round was held from January 13 to 15, and the second round was held from January 18 to 20, using a points system. Among them, the men's 500 meters, 1000 meters, 1500 meters set the total points, the two rounds of a total selection of 4 athletes to participate in the Winter Olympics, the women's 500 meters, 1000 meters, 1500 meters set the total points, the two rounds of a total selection of 6 people, women's 3000 meters, 5000 meters set the total points, two rounds of a total of 2 people. The top three athletes in each individual event receive 100, 70 and 50 points respectively, and the participating athletes are determined based on the total points.

In the women's event, Ahnar Adak won the first place in the 3000 meters and 5000 meters in a row, with a total of 200 points to enter the big list. Tian Ruining won the 500 meters and won the 1000 meters on the last race day, ranking first with a total of 200 points. Pei Chong ranked third and second in the 500 meters and 1000 meters, accumulating 120 points, guo Dan ranked second and third in the 1500 meters and 1000 meters, respectively, and also won a total of 120 points, and the two successfully got the winter Olympic tickets.

In the men's event, Xu Fu ranked second in the 1500 meters, grabbed 70 points, and then ranked first in the 1000 meters, and finally ranked first among all male players with 170 points, and successfully entered the big list. Yang Tao finished third in the 1000m race and finally locked the last ticket to the men's squad with 150 points.

At this point, the list of 6 men and 8 women of the speed skating national team has all been produced, they are male players Gao Tingyu, Ning Zhongyan, Lian Ziwen, Wang Haotian, Xu Fu, Yang Tao, female players Han Mei, Li Qishi, Jin Jingzhu, Yin Qi, Ahrna adak, Tian Ruining, Pei Chong, Guo Dan.

According to the qualification system for the speed skating event of the Beijing Winter Olympics of the International Skating Federation, through the outstanding performance of the previous four World Cups, the Chinese team won 22 small events, 6 men and 8 women, a total of 14 people. On 22 January, the International Skating Federation will release the final allocation results for the places to be contested by country.
