According to Xinhua News Agency, the Estonian Olympic Committee confirmed the list of Estonian delegations participating in the Beijing Winter Olympics on the 21st, of which 26 athletes will participate in 8 events.

Estonian athletes will compete in freestyle skiing for the first time at the Winter Olympics, and Estonia competed in six events at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Freestyle skier Sidaroo has won gold medals at the World Extreme Games five times, and she is also a World Championship champion and Winter Youth Olympic champion, but she was unable to participate in the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics due to injury.

Last November, the first World Cup of the 2021-2022 FIS Freestyle Slope Obstacle Course was played in Stubai, Austria, and Sidaro, who was plagued by injuries last season, made a strong comeback to win the championship by an absolute advantage. In that competition, China's Gu Ailing unexpectedly withdrew due to wrestling during pre-match training.

On January 8 this year, the U-shaped venue World Cup at the Mammoth Mountain Station in the United States, Gu Ailing won the championship, and Sidaro won the silver. In the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics, Sidaro will face Gu Ailing head-on.

Other athletes in the Estonian delegation included figure skaters Eva Lotta Hibbs and Alexander Seleviko, Nordic biathlete Christian Ilves and speed skater Maten Leve.
