Griffin stays! Millsap and the Nets have parted ways, with Durant losing veteran striker

It's clear that the Brooklyn Nets are adjusting their roster ahead of the upcoming Feb. trade deadline. Rumors of James Harden's interest in the 76ers have surfaced, as have rumours that the potential interior Lineer Clarkston could be traded.

However, the most reliable news of the departure has emerged. Sources said forward Paul Millsap has reached a breakup deal with the Nets and he has confirmed being traded by the Nets to other teams.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Griffin will not leave the team and Millsap will be sent away.

"Forward Paul Millsap and the Brooklyn Nets have agreed to part ways, and the four-time All-Star player will join a new team where he can contribute even more."

Millsap doesn't seem to have a clear destination at the moment, but we can conclude that his days in Brooklyn are over.

Millsap joined the Nets as a free agent last September, and he made little positive impact on the team, and it seems that the 36-year-old is tired of his limited role on the team.

In 24 games for the Nets this season, Millsap averaged just 3.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 11.3 minutes of playing time.

Millsap is no longer the All-Star he once was, but his vast experience remains an asset to young teams who desperately need an experienced player.
