Considering that Liu Yongjun may have feelings, on the day the punishment decision was delivered, the Discipline Inspection Work Committee of the High-tech Zone designated Tan Weiguo, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Nanyuan Subdistrict, as Liu Yongjun's helper in accordance with the relevant regulations on the return visit and education of party members and cadres who were punished by the Yichang Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission.

In March 2021, before the end of the period of influence of Liu Yongjun's punishment, Yang Dahua, deputy secretary of the Discipline Inspection Work Committee of the High-tech Zone, made a special trip to Nanyuan Street to pay a return visit to him.
