Basketball superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo became the face of breitling's brand image
In 2022, Haute Horlogerie Breitling announced that basketball superstar, two-time Most Valuable Player, All-Star and championship winner Giannis Antetokounmpo would be the newest member of its squad to act as its brand ambassador.
In his nine years at the National Basketball Association (NBA), Giannis Antetokounmpo has achieved nearly every milestone in his career, including the fastest improved player, most valuable player (two-time), defensive player of the year and Finals Most Valuable Player. In 2021, he also led the Milwaukee Bucks to win the team's first championship in 50 years.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, 6 feet 11 inches (211 cm) tall and highly skilled in basketball, seems destined to be born for basketball. But he's not from the traditional NBA draft. His career is different from tradition and more international.
Antetokounmpo was born in Athens, Greece, to Nigerian parents. While he faced many challenges growing up, these obstacles did not stop his passion for basketball and his relentless pursuit of success. He was drafted into the NBA as a teenager by playing in the Greek Youth League.
Today, he offers a comprehensive interpretation of these experiences. Antetokounmpo and his brothers opened a basketball academy in Athens to help children from poor families get involved in basketball. Through basketball, they build determination, self-confidence and life skills for them.
Antetokounmpo joined celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron, Misty Copeland, Kelly Slater and Adam Driver.
In terms of personality and style, each star interprets Breitling's casual, inclusive and sustainable attitude towards luxury, while they also give different elements of vitality to their work through the brand.
