Notice on traffic control measures during the second rehearsal of the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics

On January 22, the second rehearsal of the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics was held at the National Stadium. In order to ensure the safe and smooth progress of the rehearsal activities, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China in Beijing, it was decided to adopt traffic control measures for the time-sharing and sectionalization of the surrounding areas of the National Stadium and related roads. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. From 1:00 to the end of the rehearsal activity, Huizhong Road Underground Tunnel, National Stadium North Road, Datun Road (excluding Datun Road Underground Tunnel), Datun North Road, Kehui South Road, North Fifth Ring Road South Auxiliary Road (Olin West Bridge to Olin East Bridge), Tianchen West Road, Landscape Avenue, Tianchen East Road, LakeView West Road, LakeView East Road, Aolin East Road North to South Main Auxiliary Road, Beichen East Road North to South Main Auxiliary Road, Beichen Road South to North Main Auxiliary Road (Minzuyuan Road to Beichen Bridge), Except for vehicles and personnel holding special olympic documents issued by the Opening Ceremony Rehearsal or the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, other vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited. Social vehicles and buses can bypass the underground tunnel of Datun Road, the main road of North Fourth Ring Road, the main road of North Fifth Ring Road, The West Road of Beitucheng Road, and the East Road of Beitucheng Road.

2. From 14:00 to the end of the rehearsal activities, beichen west road (intersection of minzuyuan road to kehui road intersection), Olin West Road, Olin East Road south to north main auxiliary road, North Star East Road south to north main auxiliary road, except for the opening ceremony rehearsal or the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee issued by the Olympic Games special certificate, other vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing. Social vehicles and buses can detour Anli Road, Anding Road, the main and auxiliary roads of the Beijing-Tibet Expressway, The West Road of Beitucheng, and the East Road of Beitucheng.

3. From 16:00 until the end of the rehearsal activities, the underground tunnel of Datun Road is closed to vehicles except those holding special certificates for the Opening Ceremony rehearsal or the Olympic Games issued by the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee. Social vehicles and buses can bypass the main road of the North Fourth and Fifth Ring Road.

4. From 19:00 to the end of the rehearsal activities, the auxiliary road on the north side of the North Fourth Ring Road (Anhui Bridge to Beichen West Bridge) is prohibited from passing other vehicles and pedestrians except for vehicles and personnel holding special certificates for the Opening Ceremony rehearsal or the Olympic Games issued by the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee. Social vehicles and buses can detour the main road of the North Fourth Ring Road and other roads.

5. During the rehearsal period, temporary traffic control measures will be taken on the main and auxiliary roads of the North Fourth Ring Road (Jianxiang Bridge to Anhui Bridge) in a timely manner to prohibit the passage of vehicles and pedestrians.

6. During the rehearsal period, the traffic management department will release the control information and detour lines in advance according to the traffic control situation, and the public transportation department will release the bus operation line adjustment plan in advance, and invite social units and people from all walks of life to give understanding and support to the relevant work and comply with the implementation.
