On the morning of January 20, the second lot of the highway project from Lin'an to Cangnan Highway from Yiwu Fotang Interchange to Shangfo Road (hereinafter referred to as the Shugang Expressway Extension Project) was officially completed and opened to traffic, marking the completion of lot 2 of the project 8 months ahead of schedule.

According to reports, the Shugang Expressway Extension Project (Fotang Interchange Section) is a provincial key project, starting from the Yongjin Expressway Fotang Interchange, the end point is connected to the Fo road, the total length of the route is 3.777Km, the opening of the project 2 lot, the construction scope is the pile number K10+496.2-K12+139.2, the total length is about 1.643 kilometers.
The project is designed according to the standard of the first-class highway, taking into account the functions of the urban road, the design of the main and auxiliary roads, the main line crosses the current situation and the planned intersection in the form of an elevated road, the design speed is 80km/h, the two-way six-lane lane, the width of the standard section is 28.5m; the auxiliary road is the urban trunk road, two-way four-lane, the design speed is 40km/h, and the auxiliary road and the current planned road form a flat intersection to organize traffic in all directions.
The bidding section began on March 12, 2020, lasted nearly 22 months, with the joint efforts of departments and units at all levels in Yiwu, through effective project management measures and means, the implementation of various systems and norms, ahead of the set goals.
"After the completion of the project, it will further improve the traffic network system of Yiwu City, so that the overall service level of Yiwu Highway will be efficiently improved, the urbanization development of Fotang Town will be more dynamic, and the travel of teachers and students in Shuangjianghu Higher Education Park will become more and more convenient, and it will truly achieve 'people can go their way, goods flow freely'." The relevant person in charge of the Yiwu Municipal Transportation Bureau said.
