Almost in sync with the adjustment of the main leaders of many districted city public security bureaus, the intermediate courts of the seven districted cities in Jiangsu have intensively "changed their coaches".

On January 19, the Yancheng City Party Committee held a meeting of leading cadres of the city's courts to announce the decision on the adjustment of the main leaders. Li Jiangrong, former deputy secretary of the party group and vice president of the Lianyungang Intermediate People's Court, was appointed as the secretary of the party group of the Yancheng Intermediate Court and nominated as a candidate for president. Previously, on the 17th and 18th, Nanjing, Suzhou, Lianyungang, Nantong, Xuzhou, and Changzhou also held cadre meetings to announce the decision of the main leaders of the municipal intermediate court to adjust.

In this round of personnel adjustment of the intermediate courts of districted cities, the 7 new chief officials are all transferred from other places or "parachuted in" by the provincial high court. With their successive appointments, the number of "post-70s" among the main leaders of the provincial intermediate courts has increased from 2 to 4.

According to public information, during the current personnel readjustment, Li Houlong, former secretary of the party leading group and president of the Nanjing Maritime Court, was transferred to the secretary of the party leading group of the Nanjing Intermediate People's Court and was nominated as a candidate for president; Cai Shaogang, former secretary of the party leading group and president of the Lianyungang Intermediate People's Court, was transferred to Suzhou as secretary of the party group of the Municipal Intermediate People's Court and was nominated as a candidate for president; the post of secretary of the party group of the Lianyungang City Intermediate Court was taken over by Li Hongjian, president of the Second Civil Court of the Jiangsu Provincial Higher People's Court, and Li Hongjian was also nominated as a candidate for president.

Cao Zhongming, former secretary of the party group and president of the Nantong Intermediate Court, was transferred to Changzhou as the secretary of the party group of the Municipal Intermediate Court and was nominated as a candidate for president. Liu Kun, president of the Case Filing Division of the Provincial Higher People's Court, "parachuted" into Nantong, took over as the secretary of the party group of the Municipal Intermediate People's Court, and was nominated as a candidate for president.

In addition, Liu Jiangong, president of the Environmental Resources Trial Division of the Provincial High Court, went to Xuzhou to serve as the secretary of the party group of the Municipal Intermediate Court and was nominated as a candidate for the president of the Municipal Intermediate Court. Hua Yujun, former secretary of the party group and president of the Xuzhou Intermediate People's Court, has taken up the post of secretary of the party group of the new Nanjing Maritime Court (at the level of the main hall).

The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) found that the recent major leadership adjustments of the municipal intermediate courts in Jiangsu did not include the six cities of Wuxi, Zhenjiang, Yangzhou, Taizhou, Huai'an and Suqian – the intermediate courts of these six cities have completed the main leadership adjustment in the past three years, the earliest Suqian Intermediate Court completed the main leadership adjustment in September 2018, and the Zhenjiang and Yangzhou Intermediate Courts completed the adjustment in October and November last year, respectively.

After the latest round of adjustments, the eldest of the main leaders of the Intermediate People's Courts of Jiangsu Cities is Cai Shaogang, the secretary of the Party Group of the Suzhou Intermediate Court born in April 1965, and the youngest is Zhang Run, secretary of the Party Group and president of the Huai'an Intermediate Court, who was born in August 1977. The other three "post-70s" intermediate court chief officers are Li Hongjian, secretary of the lianyungang intermediate court party group born in August 1972, Jin Biao, secretary of the party group and president of the Suqian Intermediate Court born in June 1970, and Liu Kun, secretary of the party group of the Nantong Intermediate Court, born in February 1970.
