There are 122 truck inspectors in the Jingbian East Train Inspection Operation Site where Zhang Jianliang is located, each inspector knocks on the wheel more than 1,500 times per shift, bends over more than 2,000 times, walks more than 20,000 steps, and guards the safety of the train every day with the sonorous sound of wheels and hammers. More than 80% of them are young workers who have entered the road in the past two years, and this group of post-95 "knockers" call themselves the "youth ringing orchestra" between the rails.

Giving a "physical examination" to the train is a manual task, but also a technical work. The ground clearance at the bottom of the car is less than 1 meter, the space at the wheel bogie is small, and there are obtrusive "steel and iron bones" everywhere. The inspector cat went under the car with his waist, looked with his eyes, tapped with a car inspection hammer, and carefully listened to the change in tone. They have to check more than a dozen parts, hundreds of parts in turn, the most difficult to check is some of the "horns" of the place, the inspector almost has to lower his head and shoulders at the same level, the body crawls on the ground, although the outdoor is a cold air of minus ten degrees, but because it is difficult to operate, a few turn back is sweating, waist pain, cold wind blowing, but also cold people are cold.

This year's cold wave hit, the demand for coal throughout the country continues to increase, the task of ensuring the supply and transportation of thermal coal is steep and heavy, haoji railway has opened a heavy-duty train of 10,000 tons, due to the high density of train operation, the inspection of the car has become busier, the inspection operation time of each train is only 20 minutes, both to quickly check, but also can not let go of any hidden danger, the need for inspectors to be more careful.

When he walked to the 13th truck behind the plane, Zhang Jianliang found that the 8-bit "brake pad" - the wear and tear of the brake pad was close to the replacement standard, and immediately called the apprentice Yang Hang behind him with the walkie-talkie, asking for the replacement of the 13 car sluice tiles, and picked up a small stone and placed it on the sleeper under the car, reminding Yang Hang that this place needs to be inspected and processed again.

After a while, Yang Hang began to replace the brake tiles according to the mark left by the foreman. But this sluice tile seems to be stuck to the wheel, but it can't be pried open and replaced. Soon he was tired and sweating. Seeing that the driving time was getting closer and closer, he couldn't help but be a little anxious.

"Foreman, this piece of sluice tile is not easy to change, time is tight, or it will not be changed, it should be no problem." "Grasp the change, I will definitely be able to change it", seeing that the apprentice wanted to give up, Zhang Jianliang cheered the apprentice while hurrying to reinforce. He leaned over to the bottom of the car, looked in the direction, first used the hammer to strike from different directions, adjusted the arc of the gate tile, and then pried little by little, both with fierce force and cleverness, the gate tile finally loosened and fell off a little bit, plus replaced by a new gate tile, the whole process took less than 2 minutes. After the repair, Zhang Jianliang looked at the watch, and there was less than 1 minute left the car, and he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Uh-huh..." The whistle sounded, and the thermal coal train departed on time. They watched the train leave safely and began their next "performance" amid the "ding-ding".
