The ancient city of Sijing has a very long history, it is said that the garden around the Chinese pagoda was originally the Xingguo Longevity Temple rebuilt from the mansion by han Qianyou in the second year of the fifth generation, renamed the XingshengJiao Temple during the Song Dynasty, and the pagoda (commonly known as the square pagoda) was built between Song Xining and Yuan You (1068~1093).
According to historical records, this area is located in the center of Huating County during the Tang and Song Dynasties, and later in the Social Turmoil of the Yuan Dynasty, the temple destroyed the pagoda, and the City God Temple and the Xingsheng Pagoda Courtyard were built here in the early Ming Dynasty. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the north side of the square pagoda was also adjacent to the east-west horizontal side of the Three Gong Street of Fengyi, three famous Songjiang celebrities, the three dukes were the famous calligrapher and painter Dong Wenming of the Ming Dynasty, the famous anti-Qing general Li Zhongxian at the end of the Ming Dynasty, and the famous calligrapher Shen Wenluo of the Qing Dynasty. It can be said that the place where the Square Pagoda Park is located is a microcosm of Songjiang's history and culture.
Sijing, the spirit of the people, the flow of the centuries, is really a living history textbook. This weekend, the weather is clear and cloudless, and I can finally go there and shop.
Sijing is in the east of Songjiang in Shanghai, take Metro Line 9 to Sijing Station, and then call the online taxi starting fee to reach the ancient town of Sijing. But I live in Shanghai's Qingpu District, driving past is also fast, half an hour to arrive, there is a lot of parking lots, very good parking, I parked the car on the side of Jiangchuan Road, that is, Sijing Old Street opposite the main entrance.
The main entrance of the ancient town of Sijing is on the Kaijiang Middle Road, and the gate tower of the main entrance is very clearly written with the four big characters of "Ancient Town Sijing", which is very eye-catching.
I always like to play with places of interest I have a feeling that I am about to travel back to the ancient society...
Without going far, I arrived at Sijing's iconic building, the Anfang Pagoda. Sijing has been passed down through the generations of folk proverbs of "three bows and one arrow and one side of the an", and the "one arrow" refers to the An Fang Pagoda.
I heard the villagers in the vicinity say that the Anfang Pagoda has been renovated many times, this time it is a major renovation, I look closely and carefully, there are indeed repairs, some of the wood surface looks like it has just been painted.
Anfang Pagoda is a seven-story octagonal pavilion pagoda, the outside is antique, the eaves above the unique shape, the tower has two wooden ladders to go up and down the stairs.
It is a bit of a pity that the tower door is locked, it is estimated that tourists cannot enter, I think it must be that the management is in a security consideration.
From the Anfang Pagoda, you will take a circle to the empty courtyard, which has a wide view and a long pavilion with a panoramic view. Walking on the road between the white gravel and the old stone slab, it is pleasant, a good Jiangnan courtyard, a charming scenery.
Strolling through the park, the north side is a retro courtyard, which is estimated to be newly built, and the south side is a river promenade. There are many rare plants in the courtyard, such as luohan pine, black pine, chicken claw maple, ziwei, etc., in addition to flowering plants such as rhododendrons and hydrangeas, and there are some small dwarf bamboo dots in the corners, which are really very chic and elegant.
There is also a very large stone in the courtyard, which is carved as if it were a river, and it seems to be a dragon, and there is a round stone ball that can be rolled on it, and I don't know what this shape means.
Walk up to the corridor by the river, which is also the starting point of the Sijing Pond River promenade, stroll along the promenade, look at the river on it, take a quiet view, the mood is idyllic, really good.
I heard the security guards of Fangta Park say that there have also been many movies in it, such as "The Tale of the West Chamber", "Peony Pavilion", "Dou E'er", "Liaozhai", "Fengshen List", "Jigong", "Yang Naiwu and The Little Cabbage", "The Legend of Zhuzhishan" and more than 10 film and television dramas have been filmed in the garden.
It seems that the influence of this ancient town is still quite large, if there is no such a good ancient building, there will not be so many film and television companies to shoot here.
Standing by the river and looking at the Anfang Pagoda, this ancient tall building is even more tall, I walked out of the tower door and walked along the street to the east, really curious if there were any monuments to the east that I wanted to see.
Sure enough, walking out of the Anfang Pagoda, turning right and seeing an ancient building, there is a sign on the wall issued by the Shanghai Municipal Government for the Protection of Cultural Relics, which reads "Sun Shilin Residence". I thought it must have been a place where the ancient magnates or celebrities lived. But now the house seems to be of another use, because there is another sign hanging on the wall, which is new, and it reads "Huibo Academy".
The door of the academy was open, and I carefully walked inside, and there were a lot of old plaques hanging on the wall on the right, I think these plaques have been preserved in Sijing Ancient Town until now, and there is a detailed explanation under the plaque.
There are also many collections in the academy, basically all of which are strange stones, which I have never seen before, and all kinds of shapes.
The academy was empty, and I felt a little strange, and curiosity made me slowly walk towards the courtyard again.
The yard is still really deep, and the house that goes to the innermost part is already by the river. This house is relatively large, and there are many gourds displayed inside, and many patterns are depicted on the gourds. Inside, there was a beautiful woman who was drawing patterns on the gourd, and she saw me come in and hurried to say hello to me. She said it was her studio, and the gourds on the shelves were all painted by herself.
It's really not simple, the talented woman is also a beautiful woman, the craftsmanship is really good, she also opened the other two houses and introduced me to her collection.
It seems that the beautiful shopkeeper is also very hospitable, and after the introduction, he invited me to drink tea in the tea room next to her studio. I told her that I was from Fujian and was a self-media writer, and she said to me half-jokingly: "Then you promote my collection, and my business will be much better." ”
I said yes, it was a small thing for me. She made me a cup of Fujian Tieguanyin, very surprised her, she actually has a variety of tea "Yipin Meishan", it seems that she is still quite particular about tea.
After talking to her for a while, she introduced me to too many gourd artworks, and to be honest I was a layman after all, and I really didn't know much about this, but I still listened to it with relish.
You are intact Huibo Academy, and I can't help but walk out, and I still want to look to the east.
Next door to the academy is the Cheng family house, and it is an old mansion of an ancient celebrity, and when I walked to the courtyard, I saw a lot of books, and the courtyard was impressively written with four large white characters "Xinhua Bookstore".
The books in the bookstore are really a little different, and many books are about the history of the ancient town of Sijing. There is also a reading room dedicated to reading for readers.
After more than two hours, I was really a little tired, and it was more than three o'clock in the afternoon when I walked out of Xinhua Bookstore.
Leaving Sijing Old Street, it is still unfinished, Sijing is really a famous historical relics park in Shanghai. Most of the time, Sijing gives me the feeling of being a natural, empty and secluded place. I've never been to such a quiet place, and there aren't many people playing in it, and I love the atmosphere.
The ancient town is not large, but there are really many attractions to be seen inside, pagodas, promenades, trenches, pavilions are scattered, antiquities and old houses have a long history, and it is really worth playing a good place.
