According to Cambodia's "Cambodian China Daily" reported on January 20, local time, Cambodian Minister of Education Hong Zun Nalong issued a notice saying that in order to jointly curb the spread of the new crown epidemic, especially to prevent the Omicron mutant virus from infiltrating schools, all schools must strengthen epidemic prevention measures.

The circular pointed out that all personnel in the school must wear masks and maintain a safe distance; regularly check the health status of faculty and students, and if there are suspected symptoms, they should be tested immediately; no more than 20 students in each class should continue to take the form of online and offline teaching.

The Phnom Penh Municipal Education Bureau said that the authorities will actively do a good job in publicity work and urge public and private schools in Phnom Penh to implement epidemic prevention measures more effectively and protect the health and safety of all teachers and students. (Yongping)
