The unique geographical environment and the Japanese people's pursuit of the spiritual level have derived a series of emotions of people to the natural environment, people to people, and people to physical objects, which is called "material mourning" in Japanese cultural history.
What is material mourning? Senro, a teenager who has been accompanied by insects in the "Green Seat", picks up a paintbrush and draws a green cup filled with the wine of life, so that Grandma Lianzi can live forever with the body of a girl. But the broken cup is difficult to round, and she has lost her human life forever. At the end of the story, we see that the lonely teenager has been accompanied since then, and the legend that belongs to the hand of God has disappeared.

The little girl Cui in [The Light of the Eyelids] lost her light due to the reproduction of the insects in her eyes, and after hearing the news, Yinggu booby-trapped the insects that crawled out of Cui's eyes, but then used the insects to cure Cui's eyes. Seeing the light again, Cui looked at the world with the eyes of a worm, happy at the same time, and slightly lonely at the same time.

The little boy in [Soft Horn] is really fire, because the worms parasitizing in the ears receive various sounds every day, the ears are always in a roar, and four horns grow on the head. Previously, my beloved mother had died of this "disease". At the critical moment, in the last words of the True Fire Mother, Yinggu found the answer, and used the loud sound of lava in his body, which was stronger than any life, to kill the insects. The worm was destroyed, and the mother, who knew the method at the end of her life, could not save herself.
The real fire that destroys the insects
Through various stories caused by "worms", "Bug Master" shows the spirit of "material mourning" that is unique to Japan, "mourning without hurting". Every journey of The Silver Ancient often brings us the feeling of impermanence of life and the reincarnation of all things, but in the end, people and [insects] have their destined places.
Every word of "Bug Master" is an independent story and a daily routine that we are familiar with. The emotions in this are very specific, the love of mother and child, the love of husband and wife, the love of sisterhood, and the original form of most stories is ourselves in life. And the protagonist of the story, the disappearance of the human body of Grandma Lianzi, the maiden who was sacrificed to the river god, is indifferent when facing death and loss, and there are few scenes of positive sadness, crying or hysteria in the anime. It is this kind of "sorrow and silence that does not mention mourning, but reveals it to the characters" that is the true embodiment of "material mourning". Looking at every story in "Bug Master", it seems to add such a tone.

Fourth, the original intention of the recorder of "Worm Master"</h1>
At present, the "Bug Master" anime has all ended, and someone has described the story of "Bug Master" and Gingu as follows: "The traveler (Gingu) did not stop, but the recorder put down the pen in his hand."
