On the basis of analyzing and studying the spatial geomorphology and historical formation and development of Beilun, the expert team of the cultural gene decoding special class clarified the basic understanding that Beilun culture is characterized by port culture, marine culture, and red culture as the highlights, and through cultural element excavation, resource census, and in-depth interview, comprehensively sorted out 400 regional cultural elements, involving 3 main categories, 21 sub-categories, and 53 basic types, and determined 17 key cultural elements such as the original heart guardian land, the Oriental Grand Port - Beilun Port, and the Beilun - the home of the Chinese women's volleyball team Respectively, the elements were refined, the maps were drawn, and the specific measures for the transformation and utilization of the concept were formulated, and about 140,000 words of text were sorted out, forming "one table, one article, one library", and compiling the "Beilun District Cultural Gene Decoding Report". At the same time, based on genetic decoding, the construction of cultural identity is initiated, and the combination of points and surfaces is constantly polished to the distinctive background of Beilun regional characteristic culture.
