Agence France-Presse reported that within 24 hours of January 14-15, marine police and firefighters found the bodies of two women in Parisian waters. The first is the Canal Saint-Martin in sector 10 and the second is in the Ourcq Canal in sector 19.
Regarding the first deceased, police ruled out the possibility of murder after studying video surveillance images. The woman was allowed to travel for one day from a psychiatric hospital. The preliminary autopsy results of the second body also found no suspicious information, and the woman's husband reported to the police after her disappearance that she suffered from severe depression. Investigations will continue to determine the cause of their deaths.
