Hu Chengchun introduced that he has an intangible cultural heritage nuclear carving studio by the lake in the Baihuazhou Historical and Cultural Block of Jinan, Shandong. At about 7 a.m. on January 17, he received a call from a property worker in the Baihuazhou Historical and Cultural District, saying that an injured goose had been found by the lake.

"My studio is by the lake, and I am often involved in the rescue and treatment of some birds injured due to wind blowing and other reasons, so the staff of Baihuazhou will contact me when they find injured animals, and some citizens will contact me when they find injured birds and other animals." Hu Chengchun told the Jimu News reporter that when he rushed to the lake, he found that the injured person was a gray-brown goose, not a swan, and it was estimated that it was released in Baihuazhou. Later, after being examined by others, it was initially believed to be an artificially bred pet Lander goose.

Hu Chengchun said that they sent the goose to a nearby pet hospital, and after examination, they found that the goose's wings were seriously injured, and from the degree of injury, it was suspected that it was broken or broken. At present, the pet hospital has performed an operation on the goose, and the follow-up will be further treated according to the treatment and recovery.

It is reported that the operation on this goose cost more than 2300 yuan, which was funded by Hu Chengchun and 8 other caring people. Hu Chengchun said that after the treatment is completed, the goose will be released.

The Jimu News reporter learned that in recent years, Hu Chengchun has rescued more than 70 birds of various kinds, spending more than 47,000 yuan out of his own pocket.
