This status lasts until 00:00 local time on the 19th. During this period, a curfew was also imposed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. local time.

Tokayev signed a presidential decree on the 14th, announcing the lifting of the state of emergency in Shymkent, East Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Turkistan, Akmola and Kustanay regions. On the 15th, the state of emergency in the Aktobinsk region was lifted.
