Ma Aisheh is a poverty alleviation household in the village, and she is the only one left after her two daughters get married. In the summer, she worked in the farm yard in the village, with an income of more than 2,000 yuan per month, but the farm house could only open one summer a year, up to 4 months, and in September, she basically closed her business, and her life was guaranteed, but she always felt that she was not rich enough.
In 2021, the lotus mountain ice and snow world was built in the village, and the team in the village first considered Ma A Yishe. "These days just paid a salary, plus the bonus can have 3500 yuan, just work at the door of the home, the wind can't blow, the sun can't dry, manage the meal, and give everyone work clothes, such a good thing has never been thought of before." Ma Aisheh said.
In July 2021, with the entry of the Qinghai SDIC team in the village, Shibei Village quietly changed, on the basis of repeated research and communication in the early stage, Haidong Ping'an District Gucheng Hui Nationality Township and Qinghai SDIC fully implemented the decision-making and deployment of the provincial party committee and the provincial government on accelerating the development of ice and snow sports and ice and snow industry, under the careful guidance of the district party committee and the district government, repeated demonstrations, bold attempts, and finally included ice and snow tourism into the overall plate of township development, making up for the shortcomings of the winter rural economy.
With convenient transportation conditions and unique geographical environment, Lotus Mountain Ice and Snow World has built a large ski resort covering an area of 130,000 square meters in just over 40 days, with 1 150-meter practice track, 1 350-meter beginner track, 6 220-meter snow circle tracks, 180-meter and 260-meter magic carpet, which is the only alpine ski resort in Qinghai Province, and the snowboard track is the track with the strongest sense of experience for professional ski enthusiasts. In addition, there are snow tanks, deer sleighs, snow yo-yo balls, snow bikes, etc., suitable for different ages of leisure and entertainment experience.
As a joint point unit of Shibei Village, Qinghai SDIC adheres to the concept of "adhering to industrial leadership and consolidating the foundation for revitalization", helps the rural revitalization of Qinghai Province, and builds Shibei Village into an ice and snow theme scenic spot with "perfect infrastructure, unique ice and snow landscape, high-quality products and services, and strong ice and snow customs". Relying on winter research resources such as ice and snow scenic spots and ice and snow sports culture, we will develop ice and snow theme study courses, carry out winter study and travel activities for primary and secondary school students, strengthen the practical education of primary and secondary school research, and promote ice and snow research tourism.
