About the Author

Pascal (1623-1662) was one of the famous French thinkers and outstanding mathematical scientists of the seventeenth century, who made great contributions to both theoretical and experimental science in the early modern period. His main works are Letters to the Provinces, the former of which is often regarded as the foundation of French classical prose, and the Latter, which provides a rich source of discussion for philosophical and religious fronts, and becomes a testament to the greatness of man's thought. His series of scientific works, represented by "The Vacuum Theory", are basically materialistic and have become brilliant classics in the history of science and the history of ideas.

Synopsis

"Thoughts" is Pascal's masterpiece, the author in the book in a romantic way to talk about problems, everywhere flashed sparks of thought, but also many questions and aphorisms are thought-provoking.
