Zhao Lijian stressed: There is only one China in the world, Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory, the Government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legitimate government representing the whole of China, and the one-China principle is a universally recognized norm governing international relations and the universal consensus of the international community, as well as the political foundation for Sino-Western and Sino-European relations.
