Ten years is only a short moment in the long river of life. Ten years for a unit, may still be in the growth stage of continuous climbing. And the feelings and changes that this decade has brought to us opera people are too much...
For me, who began to study Kunqu opera since I was a child and has always been immersed in the opera industry, the ten years since the establishment of the Xiqu Center have been the decade with the most changes, the fastest growth and the deepest feelings.
The ten years since the establishment of the center are the most challenging decades in my professional experience, giving me many firsts, the first time to change a unit, the first time to bear the management burden of a theater and a drama; it is also the largest span of my post for ten years, from a band player, to an artistic category creator, to a manager of a drama troupe; it is also the most abundant decade of my life experience, which gives me the opportunity to experience the taste of life more deeply, and allows me to draw momentum from the team. Find passion and direction from the development of the times.
The ten years since the establishment of the center are the ten years of continuous convergence of the Shanghai opera family, from Beijing-Kunming, to Beijing-Kunming Yuehuhuai Commentary, and then to the yangtze River and Wanping performing arts platform to join, our team is growing. It is the ten years that Shanghai opera people have worked together and forged ahead, and under the leadership of the center, we have spread the spiritual style of Haipai opera to the east, west, south and north of the motherland, and also crossed the ocean and the sea to the world, and our road has become wider and wider.
Selected by the Propaganda Department for "Celebrating the Centenary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China Excellent Stage Works Exhibition", the contemporary Yue opera "Mountains and Seas deep feelings" is the most important newly created play of Shanghai Yue Theater in recent years, and more than 160 people from three troupes of the whole academy gathered together, and the creative and performing groups crossed the age difference of half a century from the post-40s to the post-90s, and jointly completed the creation. When the director was tortured by illness and still insisted on refusing to leave the rehearsal hall, when the actors still danced on the stage with waist injuries and knee injuries to show the joy of the reunion of the Miao girls, when the audience under the National Centre for the Performing Arts resounded with endless applause, everyone in the crew of "Mountains and Seas" had only one wish, to tell the story of the times with Yue opera.
Ten years with the Xiqu Center, is a colorful and splendid time, as a member of the Xiqu Center, under the care of the leaders and everyone, I went from Kun opera to Huai opera to Yue opera, while appreciating the broad beauty of opera, I felt the love of all colleagues for the fire of opera, the passion of the fire of the cause, today look back on this decade again full of hardships, full of sweat, full of struggle, full of joy, full of deep pride! We are grateful to the teachers and teachers who have overcome the obstacles together in the past ten years, who have given us support and care, and for the opportunities given to traditional opera art by this great era.
