Jiang Wei said he and his family are related to the Olympic Games. 1996 was the centenary of the birth of the modern Olympic Games, and the 26th Olympic Games, held in Atlanta, USA from July 19 to August 4, achieved the great reunion of the Olympic family. Jiang Wei lives in Atlanta. As a reporter for China Tribune, he participated in the news interview of the Olympic Games throughout the process, and participated in the Support Team of the Chinese Olympic Team in Atlanta, personally witnessing the historical moment when the Chinese Olympic Team won 16 gold medals, and together with the teammates of the support team, provided a strong support service for the Chinese Olympic Team. Eighteen years later, in 2014, his daughter Jiang Nuoheng represented the United States and was elected as a volunteer for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, serving in the news and media department of the Winter Olympics.
