Romania is somewhat prejudiced in many European countries, and one of the reasons is that Gypsies in these countries hold Romanian passports. I thought for a long time, not sure if I want to write this pyc to share this p. But considering that many Chinese Romanians don't know about Gypsies, I decided to share them.
1️⃣What is the Gypsy?
Gypsies whose English is roma, Rastian Tigani, they do not have their own country, they are usually less educated. There are also a large number of Gypsies in the capital of Romania.
2️⃣ Are Gypsies really dangerous?
In Romania every year, people have the custom of sending flowers on various festivals. Florarie in Romania's major cities is almost always contracted by gypsies. The owners of luoguo florists are almost all gypsies, and some brand chain florists are also hired by gypsies owners to operate Romanians. Because the prices sold by gypsies were more flexible, and the florists of Romanian employees were basically non-negotiable, I actually bought flowers with gypsies.
So many people think that gypsies are dangerous, which is actually a prejudice.
3️⃣How to get along with gypsies in Romania? ❗️❗️
By chance, I often went to a place with more gypsies during my study abroad. This place used to be a place where the rich lived, but now it has become an area where gypsies gather. I was suggested to learn a few words of gypsy, but at first I resisted. Because I studied in Romania, I haven't learned Romanian thoroughly, so why should I spend time learning gypsy?
But it turned out I was wrong. You really can't do it without learning. Once, when I was passing by a group of gypsy kids who were playing, I said, "Socheres!" The children replied, "Nihou! (Gypsy "Hello") and then scattered like a monkey. It was not unusual for them to see Chinese, it was not unusual to see Chinese who spoke Romanian, but they were afraid to see Chinese who spoke gypsy. Yes, just because I greeted the gypsies in gypsy, they felt scared, nothing more.
Inadvertently, I used a foreign language to protect my Q and unexpectedly gained a special experience. Since then, I have learned more about Gypsies. I've visited quite a few Gypsy families. Their home was relatively simple, similar to the conditions I had in the countryside when I was a child. But they have a big Sony speaker at home, which still impresses me. Why? According to my observation, it should be because the Gypsies are poor to people, but their spiritual life is relatively rich, and the national style of song and dance is basically the strength of the Gypsies.
So, next time if you're on a Romanian street, you'll want to overture with "socheres" first, not fear, don't shy away.
Because gypsies are people too.
