Now, the party has united and led the Chinese people to embark on a new road to achieve the goal of the second centenary struggle. "The hundred-year journey is magnificent, and the hundred-year struggle has achieved brilliant achievements." Based on the new starting point of the party's century-old history and continuing to promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we must strive to take a new road of catching up with the examination, show a new atmosphere and new deeds in the new era and new journey, and write a more brilliant new chapter.
Adhere to and maintain the "two establishments"
The "Resolution" emphasizes: "The party's establishment of Comrade Xi Jinping's core position as the core of the Party Central Committee and the core of the whole Party, and the establishment of the guiding position of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era reflect the common aspirations of the whole Party, the whole army, and the people of all ethnic groups in the country, and are of decisive significance to the development of the cause of the Party and the country in the new era and to the promotion of the historical process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation." The "two establishments" are the common choice, solemn choice, and inevitable choice of the times, history, and the people. To strive to take the new road of catching up with the examination, we must profoundly understand the decisive significance of the "two establishments," adhere to and maintain the "two establishments," and integrate the "two establishments" into the bloodline and put them into action.
Establishing and maintaining the leading core and guiding ideology of Marxist political parties is a basic viewpoint of marxist theory on party building and an important sign of the maturity of Marxist political parties. The history of the party's century-long struggle has profoundly shown that resolutely safeguarding the core of the party Central Committee and the core of the whole party is the key to the party's consensus and decisive choice at major moments, and an important guarantee for the party's unity and unity and victorious advance. Today's world is experiencing major changes unprecedented in a century, the mainland is in a critical period of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, our party is leading the people to carry out a great struggle with many new historical characteristics, and the party is facing the complexity and severity of the situation and environment, the heavy and arduous nature of the tasks shouldered by the party is rare in the world and rare in history. With the boldness of a Marxist politician and strategist, General Secretary Xi Jinping plans the overall situation at home and abroad, promotes reform, development, and stability, domestic and foreign affairs, national defense, and governing the party and the country, and leads the whole party and the people of all ethnic groups in the country to seize opportunities and overcome difficulties, solve many difficult problems that have long been wanted to be solved but have not been solved, and accomplish many major things that have been wanted to be done in the past but have not been accomplished. As a Marxist ruling party that has always walked in the forefront of the times, wholeheartedly supported by the people, has the courage to carry out self-revolution, can withstand the tests of all kinds of winds and waves, and is full of vigor and vitality, our party has a strong historical consciousness and firm historical self-confidence.
Historical cognition is an important foundation of historical self-confidence. The more comprehensive the understanding of the historical process, the more profound the grasp of historical laws, the richer the party's historical wisdom, and the more active it will be in grasping the future. Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, our party has adhered to the materialist view of history and the correct view of party history, and has achieved remarkable results in clarifying the source and consolidating the foundation on the historical issues of the party and the state. To grasp the historical initiative in increasing historical self-confidence, we must always adhere to the correct direction in the intertwining and mutual stirring of the overall situation of the great rejuvenation strategy of the Chinese nation and the great changes in the world in a hundred years, ensure that the whole party unifies its thinking, will, and actions, always grasps the law of development in planning the development of its cause and coping with risks and challenges, focuses on what we are doing, and takes a new road of catching up with the examination with a more lofty attitude.
Adhere to the party's mass line and maintain close ties with the masses
The "Resolution" pointed out: "The foundation of the party lies in the people, the blood is in the people, the strength is in the people, and the people are the greatest confidence of the party in ruling and rejuvenating the country." On the new road of catching up with the examination, we must regard the people's support or disapproval, approval or disapproval, happiness or displeasure, and promise or disapproval as the fundamental criterion for judging the gains and losses of all work, and strive to hand over new and more excellent answer sheets to the people and to history.

Constantly promote the party's self-revolution
The "Resolution" regards "persisting in self-revolution" as an important part of the party's historical experience in the past century of struggle, emphasizing that "the courage to carry out self-revolution is a conspicuous sign that distinguishes the Communist Party of China from other political parties." On the new road of catching up with the examination, we must continue to carry forward the spirit of self-revolution, keep firmly in mind the truth that iron must be its own, and ensure that the party will always become a strong core of leadership in the historical process of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
The courage to carry out self-revolution is the most distinctive character of our party and also the greatest advantage of our party, and the spirit of self-revolution is a powerful support for the party to always maintain its youthful vitality. Our party has been able to become more vigorous after a century of vicissitudes, from the initial more than 50 party members to today with more than 95 million party members, leading more than 1.4 billion people, and the world's largest ruling party with major global influence. The greatness of the party does not lie in not making mistakes, but in never hiding illness and avoiding medical treatment, always adhering to the truth, correcting mistakes, daring to face problems squarely, overcoming shortcomings, and having the courage to scrape bones and cure poison and remove saprophytic muscles. From the Eighty-Seventh Conference, the Gutian Conference to the Zunyi Conference, from the Yan'an Rectification Movement to the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party, and then to the comprehensive and strict management of the Party in the new era, our Party has always conformed to the trend of history, advanced with the times, forged ahead, continued to grow and develop in the struggle of life and death and arduous struggle, and united and led the people to create one miracle after another in the annals of history. It is precisely in the course of continuously promoting self-revolution that our party has continuously enhanced its ability to purify itself, improve itself, renovate itself, and improve itself, rely on the party's own strength to discover problems, correct deviations, and promote innovation, continuously improve the party's ability to govern, and explore a successful path of solving its own problems and jumping out of the historical cycle rate under the conditions of long-term ruling.
