The Japanese film "Silent Film Narrator" is a comedy film with noisy scenes, and interestingly, it is precisely a film related to silent film. More than a hundred years ago, there was no sound on the screen, only black and white moving images, which led to the emergence of a kind of profession - silent film narrator, also known as debater, or benshi. During the film screening, the narrator not only narrates the development of the storyline and the emotional changes of the characters through the narration, but also imitates different characters and voices them. The narrator can be several people, or it can be double, or single, which is a bit like a one-man show. In Japan, film commentary is important, and sometimes commentators are stars, and their popularity even exceeds that of the movie itself.

The young boys and girls who appear at the beginning of the film, the teenager is called Shuntaro, the girl is called Plum, in 1915, the film as a new style of entertainment, enough to arouse their curiosity and interest. They watched the filming scene, even in the woods, and accidentally, entered the movie screen. Because they couldn't afford to buy tickets to watch movies, they sneaked into the movie theater through removable movable planks. The dark theater and the flashing characters on the white screen made Umeko grow up to be an actor, and Shuntaro, who had long been attracted by the most famous narrator of the time, Yamaoka Akio, imitated Yamaoka's commentary, and his dream was to interpret the movie.

Ten years passed quickly, and Shuntaro really became a narrator. The director of this film, Zhou Fangzheng, has filmed "Talk About Love Dancing", and it is a bit interesting that he actually let Shuntaro become a fake narrator first. This movie, instead of depicting how Shuntaro assiduously honed to realize his dreams, Zhou Fang Masayuki introduced a theft syndicate, who, under the guise of Yamaoka Akio's name, raised a flag and blew a horn, toured everywhere, and Shuntaro was their pillar - when Shuntaro wore a fake beard and pretended to be Yamaoka Akio to explain the movie at the front desk, the gang of bandits took advantage of the time when people were watching the movie, stole and escaped. Shuntaro originally joined the gang as a narrator, and once during a police chase, he escaped from the crime syndicate with a box of money, and the gang leader also had to look for him, which gave the film a bit of a crime movie style.

The story that takes place at the Aokikan Cinema is the main body of the film. Shuntaro came here in anonymity, only because AokiKan already had three commentators, and could only do some chores, such as cleaning, advertising, and selling snacks. Among the narrators, there was the famous Yamaoka Akito, who had long since sunk because he was drunk; another Naito, who was more mediocre; and only Motegi, although the top card, was arrogant and self-righteous. It's a movie theater on the verge of closure, and rival Orange House next door has already begun digging its foot, and some of the musicians have been drawn in and are now targeting Motegi. Just like all successful people, there is no chance, when Yamaoka drunk can't play, Naito excused just got off the field bad throat, Motegi did not want to wipe Yamaoka's ass, the boss was desperate, Shuntaro volunteered to play, he imitated yamaoka Akira's tone, so that everyone was stunned, a hit.

Zhou May be a fan of silent films, or rather, he used this film to pay tribute to silent films, which appeared in the early Japanese filming and screening of silent films, such as "Goto No Ichi no Cheng", "Train A thousand" and "La Traviata", etc., it is said that some of the silent films are now remade. But he also borrowed the image of Yamaoka Akio to let us see that with the changes of the times, the silent film narrator has pity: "Even if there is no commentary, the film can be established, but without the film, our commentary cannot be established." Yamaoka's drunkenness actually has his sobriety, but for Shuntaro, he continues to use his talents in the commentary movie. He can have his own style, and turn a sad movie into a witty and funny. Especially when the opponent destroyed the Aokikan film film, Aokikan mixed all the available film fragments, whether ancient, modern, Japanese, foreign, mixed together, Shuntaro can explain them in a similar way, both storyline and funny, refreshing.

Umeko grows up to become a movie actress and reunites with Shuntaro, who breaks the siege for Shuntaro when he is attacked by bad guys and his voice is hoarse, and the two have a very wonderful and tacit explanation. When they were young, they watched movies together, Shuntaro gave Umeko a milk candy, Shuntaro was arrested for pretending to be a narrator and stealing money in the past, and in prison, Umeko also gave a carton of milk candy to Shuntaro through the guards. Kimura, a police officer who has been pursuing the theft, said to Shuntaro after his arrest: "You can't do movies anymore, which you are good at, but this is not the end, and there can be a sequel in life." "By the way, Kimura is also a movie lover, and he likes Shuntaro's silent film commentary. (Liu Weixin)
