Umbro and Colombian Club Americas unveiled the team's new home-and-away shirt for the 2022/23 season. Both new jerseys celebrate the legend and success of Cali Americas in Colombian football history by reinventing the 1918 club classic jersey.
As one of colombia's oldest football clubs, Club America Cali has won 15 domestic top league titles since its inception. The new home kit pays tribute to the club and gabriel Ochoa Uribe, one of Colombia's most successful coaches in football, who has won seven of the 14 league titles the legendary coach has won. The home shirt is predominantly red with contrasting vertical stripes and red lapels and cuffs. Under the collar of the shirt are the words "El Legado de Ochoa" (Okoa's legacy) and "1929-∞", paying tribute to the legendary coach who led the club to glory.
Also inspired by the club's illustrious past, Cali America's 2022/23 away shirt features sky blue and white vertical stripes with a 1927 vintage club badge under the collar behind the shirt. The addition of red trim to the collar and cuffs of the jersey gives this new jersey a simple and elegant look.
