Live bar On January 18, C Ronaldo won the FIFA FIFA Men's Football Athlete Special Award, and C Ronaldo himself came to the scene to receive the trophy. The following is the transcript of C Ronaldo's on-site interview.

Moderator: Congratulations, Ronaldo, for your achievements in winning the FIFA Special Award. You played 184 games for Portugal, scoring 115 goals and are now the holder of the all-time goal record for the global national team. Of all the awards you've already won, what's the point of this award?

Cristiano Ronaldo: Great. Of course, I'm happy, it's a special award for me. I have to say that being the best shooter ever sounds great. I have been playing for the national team since 2004 and thanks to all my teammates during this time.

This is a great achievement and I am proud of it. I never thought I'd one day become Number One. So this award is great and a big honor for me.

Host: You can now continue to improve this record because you have more games to play. You are very committed to the national team, of course, it is a special goal for you, and you are very proud of it, and the Portuguese people are very proud of it. Over the years, you have had great success. What does it mean for you to put on a Portuguese shirt and make your mark on the history of Portuguese football in an amazing way?

Ronaldo: Well, it's top notch, you know. I make the Portuguese people proud. This award is also for them, for our country. Since I played for the national team in 2004, I am grateful for their continued support for me.

It's great, playing for your country, your flag, your family is always fun. It's incredible. Every time I put on the Portuguese shirt, I feel very excited, very happy, it's a great feeling.

Host: You have one more big goal to achieve, and that's the ticket to the Qatar World Cup.

Ronaldo: Absolutely. We know we have to face two tough games, I want to be two (the first play-off win takes the second). It's going to be tough, anything is possible. We know the result of the draw is difficult, but you know, it's part of business and part of football. Football is a challenge. So, hopefully we can be ready for this battle.

Host: As we mentioned before, you have not only left a mark on Portuguese football for many years, but also a world-class star, who has achieved a lot and countless fans have admired you and your skills. So, always at the top, always one of the best players, how challenging is that?

Ronaldo: Sacrifice. If you don't sacrifice something, you can't do anything. As you know, I played in the top flight since I was 18 and stayed at the top of the football world for fifteen or six years. It's because of my dedication, my passion, my ambition, and I've been working hard.

So, that's why I've always been at the top of the world in terms of performances, trophies, goals, records. I will continue to do so.

Moderator: There's a special statistic. Since the inception of the Squad of the Year Awards in 2005, you've been shortlisted for every year. Players have voted for you for 17 consecutive years, what does that mean for you?

Cristiano Ronaldo: They know, they know football, they know what it takes to get to the top level, they know what I do on the pitch, and the voting results show what I've done.

Thank you to all the players who voted for me. To make everyone happy, especially the fans, and of course other players from all over the world, that's a big motivator for me. As I've told you before, I'm going to keep trying because I'm still capable and happy to make people happy.

Host: The last question, not only are your actions recognized in football, but your dedication to society is valued again and again; you have helped many unfortunate people, you will never forget where you came from (Madeira) and how you started your football career, which is something you have always emphasized. Has this always been your motivation? Are you the driving force behind you to help society?

Ronaldo: I think it's part of my education. My parents, siblings, and brothers taught me to look at life from multiple perspectives. Of course, I grew up knowing that if you help others, God will repay you twice as much. So my life came to the way it is now.

I will continue to do this because more good things happened in my life when I started doing it. So I'm going to continue to do that because it makes me happy and makes other people happy, and I don't think it feels better than that.

I'm proud you asked me this question, which shows that people recognize what I'm doing outside of football.
