The FIFA Annual Awards ceremony took place in the early hours of this morning, and Barca women's football captain Putras was named FIFA's 2021 Women's Player of the Year, and she helped the team win the treble last season.
Barca women's football team was invincible last season, crowning the triple crown, scoring 99 points in 34 league rounds and scoring 152 goals on goal difference; the Champions League and Queen's Cup finals were both four goals.
This season, Barça women's football team currently wins all 17 rounds of the league, with a goal difference of 94. Both the Champions League and the Queen's Cup have reached the quarter-final stage.
Pusterras is Barcelona captain, and as a midfielder she scored 26 goals last season, scoring in the Champions League final and scoring twice in the Queen's Cup final. He has scored 17 goals in the half of the season and helped the national team win all five matches in the World Preliminary Round.
Last year was a bumper year for Putras, before which she also won the Ballon d'Or, UEFA Player of the Year, Champions League Midfielder of the Year, Champions League Season Team, Queen's Cup Final MVP, Spain Player of the Year and other honors.
