Jiwei network news, January 18, Guangdong Hongtu issued an announcement that the company developed 6800T new energy vehicles super large integrated aluminum alloy rear floor die-casting structural parts products (hereinafter referred to as "integrated structural parts") was successfully trial-produced on January 17, 2022, the product is made of high-strength and toughness heat-free aluminum alloy material independently developed by the company, the size of the casting is about 1700×1500 × 700mm, the pouring weight is about 100Kg, It is the largest known size aluminum alloy high-strength tough die casting.

It is understood that the successful trial production of integrated structural parts marks that Guangdong Hongtu has become the first national brand enterprise in China to master the die-casting production technology of ultra-large integrated aluminum alloy structural parts, overcome the problems of product design, new material development, process design, equipment manufacturing and other problems of ultra-large integrated die-casting, and realized the domestic independent control of ultra-large integrated die-casting technology. Guangdong Hongtu will take this as an opportunity to continue to deepen the main business, and will increase R&D investment in key core lightweight components such as 12,000T super intelligent die-casting units and integrated front cabin assemblies, integrated rear floor assemblies and integrated battery trays for new energy vehicles in the future, further enhance core competitiveness and contribute to the development of the mainland new energy automobile industry.

In addition, Guangdong Hongtu also said that due to the need to send samples to downstream customers for inspection after the successful trial production of integrated structural parts, the follow-up mass production plan is still uncertain, which needs to be determined according to the results of the product inspection and the mass production order arrangement of the relevant customers. Guangdong Hongtu will continue to fulfill its information disclosure obligations depending on the progress of related products and projects.

At present, Guangdong Hongtu's new energy vehicle products mainly include motor housings, battery shells, body structural parts, etc., and are also being integrated structural parts layout. Among them, the market space of the battery shell is larger, the country is promoting the new energy vehicle power exchange mode, and the standardization of the battery shell specifications is worth looking forward to, which requires a larger tonnage die casting machine, as well as higher performance materials and more complex manufacturing processes.
