It is reported that Guangzhou Pharmaceutical recruits several football management talents from all over the world, and the job responsibilities include business development of football cooperation projects, program customization, club access, player registration and transfer, team foreign personnel service management, and communication and liaison with the Chinese Football Association and FIFA. Last month, Li Chuyuan, secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of directors of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, said at the Guangzhou Municipal Party Congress that he was willing to take over the Guangzhou football team. This global recruitment is believed to be a promise of fulfillment. Guangzhou Pharmaceutical and Guangzhou football have long been related. In 1984, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Factory signed a contract with Guangzhou Municipal Sports Commission to jointly organize the Guangzhou Football Team. In 2006, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group took over 90% of the shares of Guangzhou Team and established Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Football Club. In 2010, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical withdrew and was entrusted by the Football Association.

From the perspective of strength, as the largest pharmaceutical industry enterprise in China, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group has 12 Chinese time-honored enterprises and 10 century-old enterprises. Last year, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group was listed on the 2021 Fortune Global 500 list. Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group last month announced the completion of the first GMP standard Chinese medicine factory in Macao, China, and Baiyun Mountain Banlangen is expected to become the first batch of registered Proprietary Chinese medicine products after the legislation of Chinese medicine in Macao.
