Ambassador Guo Min met with the new ROK ambassador to Azerbaijan, Lee Yin-yong, in a courteous manner

On January 13, Ambassador Guo Min met with the new ROK ambassador to Azerbaijan, Lee Yin-yong, in a courteous manner.

Ambassador Guo congratulated Li Luxin and said that China and the ROK are friendly neighbors and the traditional friendship has a long history. In recent years, under the personal care and promotion of the two heads of state, the China-ROK strategic cooperative partnership has made great progress, and cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, culture, education, science and technology has yielded fruitful results. 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the ROK, and the relations between the two countries are facing new opportunities for development. The Chinese side is willing to work with the ROK to further consolidate the momentum of close high-level exchanges between the two countries, promote the deepening of pragmatic cooperation in various fields, and inject new momentum into the development of China-ROK relations. Li agreed with Ambassador Guo's positive assessment of bilateral relations and stressed that the ROK attaches great importance to developing relations with China and is willing to work hand in hand with China to continuously deepen political mutual trust and pragmatic cooperation in various fields between the two countries, so as to achieve common development and prosperity and better benefit the two peoples. Lee looks forward to establishing a good working relationship and personal friendship with Ambassador Guo, close exchanges and cooperation between the embassies of the two countries in Afghanistan, and making positive contributions to promoting ROK-China friendship for generations.
