Chengwu Village: Former Songzhuang, Baifutu Town

Former Songzhuang is located 4 kilometers southwest of Baifutu Town, bordering Jiazhuang to the east, Humiao temple to the west, Guo Liuzhuang to the south, and Hou songzhuang to the north. The total area is 0.59 square kilometers, of which the cultivated land area is 0.47 square kilometers, 160 houses, 155 households, and a population of 430 people, with surnames such as Song, Guo, Liu, Yu, and Tao.

During the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, the Song clan of Gao Dingji moved to this village, so it was named Songzhuang. From 1949 to 1958, it belonged to Li Tianzhuang Intermediate Society. In 1958, the Songzhuang Brigade was established. It is composed of 6 villages of Former Songzhuang, Later Songzhuang, Jiazhuang, Chen Lou, Guo Liuzhuang and Humiao, and is divided into 13 production teams. From 1966 to 1969, it was renamed the Revolutionary Committee of the Songzhuang Brigade, and in 1974 Chen Lou, Guo Liuzhuang and Humiao were separated, and the former Songzhuang, Later Songzhuang and Jiazhuang were one brigade. From 1997 to 2000, former Songzhuang, Later Songzhuang, Jiazhuang, Chen Lou, Guo Liuzhuang and Humiao were reunited and called the Songzhuang Villagers Committee (Source: Chengwu Village Atlas)
