I finished reading two books this week, one is technical, the other is successful, for this, I really can't write any after-reading feelings. There is another book that I can't finish today in any way, so in order to have the text you see now, I read a short story temporarily.
It's not the first time I've done this, but before it was basically because of procrastination that caused the book to not be finished, and this time it may be because the book was not read correctly...
"Spring Breeze Drunken Night", when I saw the name, I immediately liked it, not only because it was suitable for the scene. Some words written together will form an invisible sense of beauty, which may be art, or it may be the power of words, which can stimulate your ability to perceive beauty, or inspire you to imagine a beautiful illusion.
I always seem to be like this, whether it's a book or a movie, a nice name can easily win my favor. But this favor is only directed at the beauty of the name itself, because I have no idea what it wants to express. Of course, a name that makes me feel good will raise my expectations to a certain extent.
So, when I see the name "Spring Breeze Drunken Night", I am expecting a beautiful story that happens in the spring.
The result? I have to say that it is regrettable, regret is not that the story is written well or not, but that I feel that I have not tasted it, it is over, it is too short...
However, it is short and short, but the pictures described in the story have been passed through my mind one by one. Although the story is written about a difficult life, words like simple, fresh, gentle, pure, etc. pop into my mind. The calm narrative makes people's mood calm, so when it ends, it will feel even more unfinished.
The story could certainly have been written longer, but it seemed better to end it so briefly.
Strictly speaking, "Spring Breeze Drunken Night" is a collection of short stories. It contains many of Mr. Yu Dafu's short stories, and all I am reading today is the one of the same name.
I didn't know much about Mr. Uddhav, and I was a little surprised when I saw that the text was signed at the end of July 15, 1923. This is an article from nearly 100 years ago, on this spring breeze intoxicating night, it came to me through time and space, I was reading it, and it was also the process of echoing with the author, and in an instant, there was a bit of a trance...
Well, okay,
On this spring-fed evening,
I want to say to you,
Good night, stranger.
