Princess Rongshou was the eldest daughter of Prince Gong, born in 1854, and was admitted to the palace as early as the age of seven, because Prince Gong was in an important position. Princess Rongshou said to Cixi: "What is such a luxury, you are just an old widow of the Qing Dynasty, and you are still dressed so charmingly, and you have given people a handle!"
