May 2, 2018 news, Costa Rica's Territorio de Zaguates is known as the Island of Stray Dogs, which is a paradise for stray dogs. This stray dog shelter is home to more than 1,000 dogs.
The owners of the dog shelter are Lya Battle and her husband, Alvaro Saumet. In 2006, Lya and her husband Alvaro adopted some stray dogs out of kindness, and the shelter has grown to become an island of stray dogs with a large number of stray dogs.
This small island is like the "Island of Dogs" in the real world, a paradise for thousands of stray dogs.
