The transaction was for 18.73% of Li Xiuman's shares held on behalf of the producers. CJ ENM assessed 100% of SM Entertainment's stake in 3 to 4 trillion won and decided to buy Lee Soo-man's stake for 600 billion to 700 billion won.

CJ ENM did not become the largest shareholder of SM Entertainment, but made Li Xiuman the head as it is now. Li Xiuman will also be responsible for the overall operation of SM's entertainment content business in the future. Whether the CJ ENM music division will be split and merged with SM Entertainment is still under discussion. At the same time, Li Xiuman is considering a plan to transfer the largest shareholder to CJ ENM and continue to hold some of the shares.
