I believe the vast majority of people know this report that was recorded in the junior high school textbook, these two demons killed 106 and 105 innocent people respectively during the Nanjing catastrophe, because they did not significantly open the "score", the two immediately decided to have a plus match to see who could kill 150 people in the shortest time. After their "outstanding battle achievements" were reported, they were immediately named "heroes" and "hundreds of warriors" and other titles, and immediately became the stars that those big-headed soldiers sought after. But in the time that followed, even when Japan surrendered, these two people seemed to have evaporated from the human world, how could they not find their traces, could it be that these demons with blood-stained hands were so at large? Did they end up being tried justly? Let's go back in history and find out.

On January 19, 1946, the International Military Tribunal for the Far East was established in Tokyo, and China sent a delegation to participate in the trial to bring justice to those compatriots who suffered so much in the War of Resistance. Gao Wenbin, who was translating from the delegation at the time, inadvertently pulled out a newspaper dated December 13, 1937 in a sea of incriminating evidence documents, and he felt that there must be some evidence on it, and perhaps it would be helpful for the trial of war criminals later. As a result, when he glanced at the contents of the newspaper, the anger in his heart instantly burned. Second Lieutenant Toshiaki Xiangjing and Second Lieutenant Takeshi Noda of the Katatsuki Force, the result of the match in the Purple Mountain Raiders on the 10th was 106 vs. 105. At noon, the two men met with their battered knives. I've chopped 105 of them, what about you? I cut 106 of them, and when I said that, I looked up at the sky and laughed. Originally, they were going to kill 100 people first, but at this time the two seemed to be not satisfied with this score, and then said that this round of matches counted as a draw, and waited tomorrow to see who could kill 150 people first.
Seeing this, Gao Wenbin unconsciously clutched the newspaper, and his mind was full of pictures of the tragic death of his compatriots. On December 1, 1937, the Japanese high command officially ordered the attack on Nanjing, where Toshiaki Xiang and Takeshi Noda were also there. Watching those innocent people fall one by one, not only did they not have the slightest pity in their hearts, but even inspired the nature of the butcher. Under the order that they could do whatever they wanted, the two of them began to commit violence impatiently, and almost all the Japanese soldiers at that time turned into bloodthirsty demons. It may be that all kinds of outrageous methods of slaughter can no longer make them feel happy, so they work together to find more exciting ways, and then they think of the previous "killing game", and agree to wait until after the capture of Nanjing to see who can kill enough 100 first. After the two entered the city of Nanjing, Xiang Jing found that he had killed 89 people, while the wild group had only killed 78 people, they were still a little far from the goal of the game, and when they saw the innocent people in the city, their eyes emitted a strange light like a dead fish.
On December 10, Xiang I and Noda came to the bottom of Purple Mountain and officially began the "killing game". They took the knife in their hands and slashed left and right, and finally slaughtered 106 people in the well, while Noda was slashed to the blade because of the battle knife, and only 105 people died under his hands. Since both were "immersed" in the "match", they did not pay attention to who won the game, and then they decided that the "game" was a draw, and agreed to see who could slash and kill 150 people the next day. This unheard of "competition" attracted the attention of those journalists at the time, who hyped up the "killing competition" and then published it in the newspaper, intending to continue to pay attention to the "match" of the two, and then do several serial reports. It didn't take long for the "prestige" of Xiangi and Noda to spread throughout Japan and the troops, and other Japanese soldiers regarded them as idols, and then they were even more brazen in committing violence against innocent people. And those Japanese people, who are deeply poisoned by militaristic ideas, also regard these two people as "warriors" and "heroes".
After reading the report of "hundred people beheaded", Gao Wenbin vowed to bring the two people to justice, so he shared this evidence with his partners. Everyone was indignant at the time, and immediately began to search all night for clues about the two, and found two shocking facts in the midst of this.
The first was the massacre of Inoue and Noda, innocent civilians and prisoners of war who surrendered their weapons. At that time, many newspapers reported that there were not only very detailed text descriptions, but also some relatively clear photos, which could prove the crimes committed by these two people. The second is that Xiangjing and Noda should still be alive, and most likely live somewhere in Japan. Because both men were officers of the 16th Division, the U.S. army killed more than 13,000 Japanese troops at the Battle of Leyte Gulf, and 620 were taken prisoners, and xiangjing and Noda's names were on the prisoner list. However, because their positions were too low, they could not be imprisoned as war criminals, and they were later directly sent back to Japan. Gao Wenbin was very excited when he saw this information, and immediately submitted the evidence to the International Tribunal, but the answer was that the evidence about the Nanjing Disaster was all over at that time, and the official positions of these two people were too low to be tried in the International Tribunal, so they did not accept this evidence.
Gao Wenbin was obviously unacceptable to this statement, how could these two demons who had committed heinous crimes be exempted from trial just because of their low positions? To this end, Gao Wenming specially copied two copies of the evidence, one to Song Ziwen and one to the military court in Nanjing. Song Ziwen was furious after seeing the newspaper, and immediately wrote a letter to the International Court of Justice in the name of China, very strongly stating that the two must be tracked down to the end. The Far East Military Tribunal's attitude toward China was immediately taken seriously, and Richard Watson, the chief of the investigation section, was put in charge of the matter.
But it was not easy to find two people throughout Japan, but fortunately, in a dazzling array of materials, Watson found Xiangi and Noda's enlistment information, which recorded their home addresses. Watson did not delay this matter, and immediately led people to rush to the two people's hometown. The investigation team first went to the Village of Shindai in Yamaguchi Prefecture, which was xiangjing's hometown before, but when they asked the villagers if they recognized xiangjing, they even said that they did not know this person, even if they saw the photo of Xiangjing, there was still no result. The investigation team believed that this was the address in the enlistment information, and there was no reason to be false, so they confirmed the information to the villagers again. This time, the people actually yelled that it was not clear, and the investigation team could not do anything about it, and when they came to Noda's hometown, the villagers there had the same attitude. The team also wanted to get clues from other war criminals, but the end result was three words — I don't know. The address on the enlistment information must be accurate, but the villagers and war criminals have behaved in this way, and there is only one reason why it can be summed up, that is, these people are shielding these two devils. But even though Watson knew this in his heart, he couldn't find a better way to find the two now, so the investigation team fell into a dead end, and finally things took a turn for the better on May 18, 1947.
On Akasaka Road in Tokyo that day, a man got into an argument with a fish ball shop owner who shouted that he had killed a hundred people in a day in China and asked how dare the boss ask him for money. At this time, a group of international gendarmes just heard these words, and they thought that this person was afraid that it was not Xiangjing or Noda that they had been looking for, so they arrested the man and took pity on the owner of the fish ball seller. After some surprise interrogation, the crowd was disappointed to find that he was not Xiang I and Noda, his name was Tanaka Junji, and he was a lieutenant squadron leader of the Sixth Division. According to Tanaka's testimony, he also participated in the massacre of the Nanjing Massacre, and killed more than 300 civilians and prisoners, although not the two people who had been looking for, but also did not spare this person from trial. Watson was thinking about whether this Tanaka would know XiangJing or Noda, so he began to interrogate in this direction, but he did not expect that it was really in the bullseye.
On August 20, a vendor in Saitama Prefecture was setting up a stall when two international gendarmes passed by. Although the man was wearing a turban and wearing civilian clothes, the two recognized that he was none other than Noda, who had been looking for him, and then went up and pinned him to the ground, although Noda had been struggling during this time, but the two gendarmes did not care about his set, and directly sent him to the interrogation room. After seeing Tanaka and the newspaper, who had also been arrested, he knew that his guilt could not be hidden, and he no longer struggled to cry out for justice. Since noda can be found from Tanaka, can no well be found from noda? The investigation team immediately began to interrogate Noda. This Noda may have seen that he had been arrested, how could he not pull a cushion back, so he quickly confessed the whereabouts of Xiang Jing. The investigation team then quickly launched an arrest, and the two "hundred-man beheading" executioners were finally arrested and over-completed their tasks.
So what is the end of these three "hundred people chop"? There was a man who urinated directly on the ground before dying. After all three were arrested, they were sent to Nanjing, where they were formally tried on December 18. When the presiding judge, Shi Jingyu, took out a photo of the "hundred people beheaded", XiangJing and Noda were still reluctant to admit guilt, and that Noda also said that the reason for publishing this report was just to win the favor of the Japanese girl. Tanaka saw that these two people were so rogue, and simply joined in themselves, dead or alive, because they did not want to admit the crimes they had committed. The presiding judge looked at the three people in front of him and did not say much, and directly took out a few photos of the three people who mutilated the people, at which time Tanaka slyly argued that It was winter in Nanjing at that time, and he could not only wear shirts, so this photo was fake. At this time, the presiding judge unhurriedly took out the testimony of the photographer, and it turned out that when Tanaka was violent, he let the photographer take a lot of photos from all angles, and the reason why Tanaka did not wear cotton clothes was because he thought it was more energetic. Immediately after the presiding judge came up with a lot of ironclad evidence, Tanaka saw that he could no longer argue sophistry, and finally could only obediently confess his guilt. At this time, Xiang Jing and Noda were still shouting from the sidelines, posing that the dead pig was not afraid of boiling water. But they were always so cunning, and the presiding judge was able to convict based on the evidence, and in the end all three were sentenced to death, and the surrounding people all cried out in joy.
On January 28, 1948, the three demons were finally taken to the execution ground, and the surrounding people arrived at the scene early, waiting for the moment when they were executed. After the three people arrived at the execution ground, their whole bodies trembled like sieves, and Tanaka also lost his former "might", and then there was a pool of yellow liquid on the ground. The people laughed when they saw this: the devil was so frightened that he peed his pants. By noon, the soldier in charge of the execution finally pulled the trigger, and the three "heroes of militarism" finally got a just trial, but unfortunately they still lived for more than a decade in vain.
Now, very few people have survived the Nanjing catastrophe, and these old people are even more precious in the face of some Japanese who want to distort history. History should be remembered by all, not giving those who harbor ill-intentionedness a chance. We have no right to forgive our ancestors, all we can do is to uphold that part of the truth, to protect the peace created by the martyrs at any cost, comrades, do not forget the national shame!
