An exclusive revelation from foreign media The Disinsider, some characters in the animated movie "Super Marines" will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as live-action characters. The Disinsider said they're not sure who will join the Marvel movie as a live-action actor, but at least they can look forward to Big White and Little Macro.
As for the Marvel franchise, The Disinsider has heard that there are "Secret Invasion" episodes, "Atlas", and the movie "Doctor Strange", but it is currently impossible to confirm (considering that the plot of "Doctor Strange 2" involves a multiverse, it is the most likely option).
The Incredible Marines is based on Marvel's 1998 comic of the same name. The story takes place in a fictional future hybrid metropolis "Old Keiyama" (mixed with San Francisco and Tokyo), mainly telling the story of the inflatable robot Obai and the genius teenager Xiaohong teaming up with rookie friends to form a super team to fight criminal conspiracies.
In 2009, Disney acquired Marvel Entertainment and began looking for works in Marvel Comics that were suitable for film adaptation, and director Don Hall found this work from the database. However, "Super Marines" was not very popular when it was serialized, and even the staff of Marvel Entertainment did not expect this work to come out. When Hall first learned about the manga, he was fascinated by its title and Japanese elements, and after discussing it with producer John Leicester, decided to change the interior and create the script in order to meet disney animation requirements.
In addition to borrowing Japanese elements, the character's name, experience, special abilities, and jointly fighting enemies, the film is basically very different from the original manga "Super Marines", including the characters, and has been greatly adapted by the film.
