Newcastle today officially announced the signing of Burnley centre-forward Wood, and it is reported that the transfer fee is 28 million euros.

According to Opta, Wood has scored 49 Premier League goals since his debut for Burnley in August 2017, the most goals scored in Burnley's history in the Premier League.

Burnley has scored a total of 170 goals in Premier League matches since August 2017, with Wood's 49 goals accounting for 29 per cent of total goals scored, with 15 of them being match-winning.
