Fadeaway World has released a list of the best number of NBA all-time weekly hits. The NBA set up the Best of the Week awards from the 1979-80 season, and at the beginning there was only one player per week in the entire league. From the 2001-02 season, there was one best of the week in each of the east and west, and two players won every week.
James is far ahead of the 65-time best of the week, Kobe Bryant is second 33 times, Durant is third on 28 occasions, Harden is fourth in 26 times and Jordan is fifth in 25 times. Duncan, Iverson and Malone tied for sixth, followed by Garnett, O'Neal and Westbrook. Whose ranking surprised you the most?
